I'm still playing this and have two accounts up and runnin.

Trouble is i'm heading into a 'bored of Eve' stage now where I am really finding it hard to play it much. Had some good fun last week with trading etc and made some bucks, but now I just seem to have gone off the game a bit.

Maybe I need to do some mad solo jaunts into 0.0 space with my Thorax and get into a few random scraps lol!

Been away from this game for about 5 months now (to sort some finances etc out). So have I missed anything?

Severely tempted to re-open my two accounts and get playing again!

I signed up for this game again yesterday (been off it for about a year). I'm running two chars now (WhiteFusion and Funkyrobot) and finding it quite hard to remember what i've got stashed and where lol!

Bitten by the bug again and now back on here.

Currently have two chars and am just doing a spot of mining and manufacturing at the moment. Haven't joined any corps yet.

Working towards an Orca for my mining and may dabble in some trading. Most probably mineral based.

I think I've completely fallen in love with the Rubicon Theme... Its EvE Online crossed with the Tron Legacy soundtrack.

I'll let you know what I think when I get some speakers hooked up to the PC.

I'm not in a corp at the moment so tend to do lots of stuff on my own. Which system were you in?

Actually, I should be re-activating my two old accounts this weekend. One is from 2005 and another from around 2009. Both have lots of skill points and can fly quite high end ships. I've been using a two week freebie account up to now to see if my old ropey PC is up to it. It seems to run things on very low settings, but the game plays.

Saying that, I had a few hours on it over the weekend, but haven't had any time since. The fiancee is this weekend though so may have a good few hours to waste on it.

Well, I've never ventured anywhere near nullsec, so it sounds interesting.

If you recall, I played this game years ago (and started this thread). However, I've only really ever done mining and trading.

This is the thing, I bet it is interesting, but I've been terrified of not being able to do anything because of being shot up all the time. I worry about going into null sec and not having much fun.

Also, I have a very old machine that seems to run the game fine with low, low settings. I don't know how it would work if I had a few other players nearby shooting.

Oh yes, what happens with your security status if you are involved in shoot outs? I would still like to be able to venture back to high sec from time to time. Would shooty shooty in null sec ruin this?

Yeah - you can also have negative systems.

Low sec is 0.1 to 0.4
