I haven't logged on in a while, will there be changes to the non-Panda areas and parts of the game, like there was in Cata?
Not so much. Theramore is becoming a battlezone though.I'll probably be back but doubt I'll get into raiding like I used to up to Wrath. I lost interest in serious raiding in Cata as I no longer had the time or inclination to raid 3-4 days a week.
Might level a Monk but I'll probably stick to my enh shammy. He's over 6 years old now!
Keep thinking i will just buy the standard box (usually got the collectors eds) but the more i hear i feel its just going to be like when Northrend opened up in WOTWK, was a bit " NORTHREND fk YEAH!....oh i just go and kill 10 boars then do i....sigh!"
Back into EVE online a bit and its ace, if slow, if i could play it on my ipad while doing other stuff it would be ace.
GW2 looks quite intersting, fresher, but SW:TOR was a massive dissapointment which was such a shame.
I am a bit MMO'd out tbh, have too much other hobbies in the real world and a bike that needs rebuilding.
May drop in on my mate and see if he has a panda, see whats what.

So, who's coming back for Pandaria...?
And, if you're still playing, what do you think of the changes made in last weeks patch?
I only play to raid these days so my comments about the changes are related to our weekly farm DS HM raid:And, if you're still playing, what do you think of the changes made in last weeks patch?
My main is a restoration druid so the base changes to healing were "interesting". Fixed mana pools (no longer increased by intellect) meant a, for me, welcome return to the mana management meta game. Healing HM Spine was a challenge and myself, a holy paladin and a disc priest all had a generally positive view of the changes.
From a restoration druid specific view the basic way in which you heal did not change but finally getting a proper damage mitigation targetable CD is very nice. The QOL changes to Lifebloom (longer duration, instant transfer of 3 stacks when cast on another player) and to Mastery (longer duration) are very welcome. Healing shrooms are a disappointment - they were too powerful in various betas and now are not really worth the effort.
I also have a Blood DK alt which I've not tried in DS HM but did a few HM bosses in Firelands. Obviously the balance is way out at the moment but it was still satisfying to be topping the damage meter as a tank.
As a Blood DK tank I'm used to an active mitigation model and it'll be interesting to see how the other tank classes handle the transition. It is interesting to see that at this point avoidance, mastery and hit/expertise builds are all considered viable.
The new talent system is a source of much debate - personally I quite like the way they've become utility choices although I do understand those who claim it's another nail in the coffin of complexity/depth. From a raiding point of view I like the fact that I can change talents using a simple consumable and can see that this will be a frequent activity for me.
From a less class specific point of view the loss of Have Group Will Travel has caused some consternation amongst our lazier members; "What! I have to fly?". The consolidation of LFR, LFG into a single UI element is a sensible change.
The graphical changes are not something I can honestly say I've taken a great deal of notice.
I was impressed how many addons worked when the path launched (when I say impressed I mean relieved - the thought of healing without Vuhdo is not pleasant).

Max level as in level 90? Next step is usually to go run some heroic 5-man dungeons, or raids. Try doing an LFR raid to begin with. You will need to be in a guild to do proper raids though.
Gear requirements for LFR are quite steep (ilevel 460) so you'll need to run some normal dungeons (or complete all the main pandaria quest chains) to get into the heroic versions and then gear up for LFR. I've been back a month after 18 months away from it, thanks to a scroll of resurrection from an old guild friend.
Just passed through 87 and have been spending my time grinding out rep, improving on the 75 Gold they give you when you return and going for the Loremaster achievements while I'm at it, before really focussing on Pandaria (though I've done more than a few quests there).
I figure the longer I delay really pushing on through the Pandaria quests the better, as I'll get more enjoyment from my return and lessen the impact of hitting the wall as I did when I broke 80 then 85.

Yep, 90.My gear is pants so I'm not quite at a high enough ilvl to get into Heroics yet.
This is also probably why I'm getting spanked by the majority of other 90s I battle (that and the fact I'm utterly rubbish).
