Seems we've got a few Eve players so I suspect we've got some WoW addicts lurking in the corners looking pasty.

I've got 2 main chars, a 66 Alliance warrior on Karazhan and a 50 Horde Druid on Kazzak (my main).

Anyone else? Or should I say, anyone else prepared to admit it? wink

Never played it, tried Lord of the Rings online but found it really laggy when there were a few players in the same area, is it the same in WoW?

No, WoW is really smooth, only time I ever got near slowdown was in one of the major cities when there was a festival on and there must have been hundreds of people milling around.

I haven't played my account in a good 2 years.

Level 80 horde priest on Blackwing Lair (US server) and a bunch of level 20-35 bits and bobs on the same server.

I started when a couple of mates started talking about it, it's a laugh when we're all on Vent just chatting away and it's a cheap way to pass the time.

Just dabble in it, got a lowly 27 level Warlock. Currently mincing about doing what all the newbies do, but I enjoy it. Thinking about starting off another character as I'm not entirely satisfied with my present Baldrick.

I played it for two weeks non-stop a few years back, then deliberately jacked it in to save my life. (I actually got withdrawal symptoms for a few days, was really grumpy and couldn't sleep! smile ) Then I tried again about 6 months later and got bored within 2-3 weeks. Lasted a similar time with Tabula Rasa and Warhammer.

Nordrassil EU server

Level 80 Prot Warrior (main)
Level 79 Ret Pally (will be 80 by Friday night)
Level 72 Mage
Level 71 Priest
Level 71 Huntard

Plus some lowbie alts...

Co-GM a Guild 'Pride of St George'. Small and casual, almost ready to raid Naxx-10 without any pugs...

Anyone on Nord come say Hi!

Not really that much - the Ret Pally is so easy to level it's silly - 350k xp per hour is easy to manage so levels just whizz by.

Levelled the 1st one 70-80 slowly though to enjoy the new scenery.

Question is... what next? Finish gearing hte war and pally for Raiding or level the mage or priest..?

Depends what you enjoy most I guess. Personally, I like random PVP battles so I just level as quickly as possible then go and camp an alliance town for a bit. (And usually get my arse handed to me by 80s).

Anyone else on Nagrand server?

I have:
lv80 Night Elf BM Hunter
lv70 Retribution Paladin

Plus banker alts. Spending most of the time on Wintergrasp PvP battleground at the moment, just starting to do instance runs for gear and Raids.

Lich King expansion killed it for me. Been playing on-and-off since Beta, came back for the new expansion to see what its all about but its been dumbed down to obscurity.

I'm playing Warhammer now, far more casual and less of a time sink, and mass PvP is always fun.

It doesn't take that long to get through the new content, but it is much more imaginative than the old Outland geography. The dungeon instances are more linear and generally quite short, which for me makes for better playability. I just don't have 4-5 hours to slog through a raid! The new PvP area called Wintergrasp is good fun, with various mechanisms to ensure that it isn't the same faction that wins time after time.

Been playing the free trial for a couple of days and it's pretty good, much smoother than Lord of the Rings. Not sure whether I'll upgrade to the full version after the 10 days yet but it could be the ideal thing to waste some time on while I look for a new job!
