FORZA 3 - Time Trial
Discussion
With the plethora of race championships going on at the moment, does anyone fancy doing a one off time trial for a couple of weeks? It won't be part of a championship so we could make it self policing to save anyone from doing the hard work of checking everyones times, it would also open up some different scenarios.
I'm thinking maybe anything built before 1990 and up to class A round the Nurburgring? Running between now and 16th May, also some internet beers for anyone who posts a good time in a car that isn’t placed highly on the leader boards.

Had a quick go earlier with my M1, not really suited for it as it's top speed is too low but at least it was a clean lap!
Got a few other tunes to try so hopefully can knock a bit of time off that, mad to think that's 50 seconds off the pace of the leading time on the leader board.

I didn't have any pre '90 A class cars in my garage, so after a bit of garage tweaking with the Camaro (upgrades but no tuning yet) I'm going for the internet beer award with 8:40.085
I already had it upgraded as far as it would go a while ago (trying to make a silly R3 car, but it maxed as an S class), and brought it back down to A class for this. The paint was part of the intended R3 class vibe I wanted for it .
Edit: tuned the car and got 4 seconds off. I'll try something else a bit more serious now, but I hope a Camaro around the ring is internet beer worthy

Hit by a money shortage, stuck with tuning cars I've already got and found a shortage of old cars. I'm sure I can get the Fairlady to do better though.

Managed to improve over the weekend but I've now got an Audi S5 sitting at the top of my Class A times round the 'Ring after doing a bit of a tuning session, bugger!

Edited to add stephen 3000o back in. He got lost somewhere in the table updates. I tried this again with a Datsun 510, I think I went quicker but I don't think it was a clean lap, same with a 959 I bought, upgraded and then sold again (the big kerbs liked to put both of them on their roof! ) I don't think I'll get any better times with the cars I've got.

I tried out that Nissan Skyline 2000 GTR and I must've ended up on the roof about 6 times during the lap, those Nissans really do roll easily!Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
