What about adding a column to show the cars being used by each person too?

Having only really picked up F3 in the last few days and only having tried the time trial stuff a few times for the comp I have had many of my "clean" laps disallowed with the ! crap - I know I didn't go off track or touch anything the entire lap, does it take the previous lap into account too?

Put it this way I managed a 1:01:76 clean, yet because I touched the wall on the right turn hairpin on the previous lap it disallowed it - wtf is that all about? I ended up throwing the controller away after that...

I think it takes the last section of the previous lap into account...i assume so you dont use an iffy corner cut to gain an unfair advantage onto the straight for a fast flying lap?

Definitely needs a column for the cars - I'm torn between settling for fastest non-Elise, and proving my lack of pace by conforming!

If no one's done it by then, I'll add the cars to the list tonight.

Spent ages oon the elise last night but just not get a decent lap together so went back to the 22b. Thinking of just trying a lover spec car and using lots of mods for comparison.

The corner cut disallows are pretty annoying but at least it makes things fair for everyone and no PGR style bouncing off the barriers to gain and advantage.

Still not a clue how the sub 1 min laps are done even after watching the replays

You tried racing the ghosts to see where they are carrying speed?

iv'e changed the vx220 for the elise, just to see if i can go a bit quicker, 1.02.111, the wife luckly gave birth to our second child friday morning so i'm now on perternaty leave, might have to spend a little time on forza

I'm now crapping myself.

PStar has put in a 59.286 which is damn close to my time.

I know I have a bit more to get but hooking it up is proving extremely difficult.

I'm at the stage now that I can happily bung in high 58's but can't get that extra bit to gain any significant amount - I really want to take 3rd on the Leaderboard and it's only 0.048 away :arse:

I think I can get top 5 on the leaderboard as my top lap was a bit crap (storming finish on a lap id written off), but I dont think I can quite beat your time. I had to change car out of desperation as there was nothing else I could do in the Elise with the tune I had as my own tuning is way off the pace!

As soon as my bro gets COD im not gonna be able to get back on though. Was saved tonight as it hasnt turned up yet

Got myself up to 185th ish last night with a 1:03.something... reckon there's a good second or two to find still (have done a sub 1:02 but wasn't deemed clean enough) but bejeebus, sub 1 minute?!


Tried to watch/race against some ghosts the other night too but rather foolishly when i was first setting up the game i said 'no' to show ghosts, now i cant for the life of me find the options screen that lets you turn them back on!? any one able to re-fresh my memory?

If you select someone from the leaderboard, it should give you the option to race their ghost.
I think there is an option turn to on/off your own ghost in the HUD options while in game. (i'm not sure i'll check when i get home)

Giving this a go for fun more than anything, the first challenge being to try and get a clean lap without going over the kerbs, some of them are in really horrible places to get around them (they are with my sausage fingered driving skills anyway).
