Sorry for being thick…..

There is no option for tuning at the Time Trial, so where do I go if I want to change suspension / downforce / tire pressure settings etc? FYI I do have an un-tuned 007 car in my garage.

I did 15 laps last night with TC on at time Trial with the 009 car, and my best effort was 1.48.... The last section is very tricky.

Not sure if I have the time for laps this week, but if I can get it down to 1.45 I’ll be very happy.

That's the point of what Asterix wants to do.

Everyone in the same car, no tuning, to test who is the fastest.

What time trials should be about IMO of course.

basically i havent bothered but if you wanted to... you can go to hotlap... set the car up and there is a glitch which means if you then go back to time trial it will keep onto those settings!!

I found the key to this track was NOT to attack it too hard... if i took it easy i was actually quicker than my balls out limits of grip time...

i.e. the first S i was quicker lifting off and coasting through rather than gunning it round the first and then anchoring up for the second R/hander

I notice from my favourites list that only Jackal, Asterix, Kitch and Spetsnaz have set times that they can't beat in the Aston, so they should be the only ones who need to prove times.

I've just set a 1.42.646, but I notice Pulsatingstar is faster, at 1.42.168. Cracking time already!

Slightly confused, if you are doing this in the time trial section the Aston is the only car you can use?

Look at the leaderboard table thru Time Trial - there's only Asterix so far with an invalid time as his PI is too high for the car.

Yep agreed, just that I was not sure why you were saying they had set times that they cant beat in the Aston? When the Aston is the only choice of car you have in the Time Trial mode of the game for this track??

Some cracking times there already, I was chuffed to get into the 1m 43's last night and really struggling to string a lap together to get any faster. Think there's maybe 1/2 a second for me at best.

Managed to drop my 'bad' time with the upgraded car but it took lots of laps!

Have now posted a 1:40.99 having been stuck on a 1:41.001 for bloody ages!

There's still plenty of time to come I think - at least half a second.
