ds! Just dusted off my old collection and started playing MW3 again. It's friggin awesome when compared to some of the newer stuff I've got on Xbox One.
Anyone still playing MW3? There's about 5,000 players online at anytime (as opposed to the 500k+ it used to get).
Oh, one thing that's changed is fast internet speeds now mean I'm getting 'full green bars!!

Good
1) It's Modern Warfare, all the nostalgia has come flooding back
2) The maps are brilliant
3) Loudouts are pretty well balanced
4) No stupidly overpowered killstreaks.
5) It's slick, quick and without too much garnish which has ruined the later ones.
Bad
1) Spawn points oh dear!
2) Spawn camping, so everyone has pretty much worked out the spawn points so a lot of games devolve into spawn, get shot by spawn camper, die, re-spawn. I think in one game I got killed about 15 times by the same spawn camper, a lot of those where it spawned me into the exact same spawn point 3-4 times in a row.
Some maps are worse then others but nearly all of them suffer from this. I don't remember the original game being this bad so was this game always broken or do we just have more idiots online these days. Really how hard can it be to programme something which say if there is another player within 10 yards of the spawn point, don't spawn there?
The game is so much fun when this doesn't happen but it's broken otherwise I'm afraid.
PS Also had a quick go on the new one, not even sure what it's called, just to make sure I wasn't missing anything....I'm not, it's st.

t.Keep getting my arse handed to me in this. I probably average 6 or 7 kills per match (team death-match) and only now and again get more but quite often get a couple less. Only ever called in a helicopter strike once which did put me top of the kill sheet which was great (I think it was 22 or 28 I ended up with). Now and again I get to the the UAV call in for three kills.
Despite being ste, I'm really enjoying it - it's a great game.

A Pro won't actually do genuine 4k, despite what Sony might have you believe. It will however offer greater graphics fidelity than a normal PS4 as well as smoother\improved framerates. If you are also thinking about getting a playstation VR headset at any point in the future then it will be a better option for that too.Given the relatively small price difference, if I was buying a new PS4 now, I'd buy the Pro, simply because it will be more future proof then the standard one.
