Loved this, but the way they built the landscape out of block so elevation changes where stepped made it annoying without the hardcore physics mode, and impossible with them. I did love that game though. Blasting along the coast with a load of mates was brilliant fun.

Could you explain what this is, as I never noticed it?

I loved TDU on the 360, looking forward to this sequel. Although I must say I enjoyed the bikes a lot, was more a challenge seeing how long I could ride one without killing myself, as it turns out, that's not very long.

Can't wait for this! The original was one of those games that made me very glad I gave up PC Gaming after 10 years and moved solely to a console. It always worked (OK, the handling didn't, but that's another story wink )

if you go up into the mountains and come over a crest its hardly smooth, it just sort of seesaws over the edge and then carries on, it never really bothered me, but can cause some oppo on occasions!

The worst ones were keleoke pass and Tantalus, to be fair though there were a lot more 'flat' roads with little humps than dramatic blocks of terrain.
Did you get hardcore mode on the Xbox?
I only used arcade mode to get to champion status and for doing ranked multiplayer races. Switched to hardcore and never went back. The reason H mode worked is because they reduced the 'mass' of the vehicles to about 2/3rds and gravity to about the same, hence the lack of traction and the ability to fly over jumps, hedges, tall buildings.
I'm off to race americans in a bit.

Road looks smooth in the Viper pic too. Here's hoping they've sorted the jagged roads issue.

I hope there's a 'manual w/clutch' option like Forza 3.

Should be, TDU1 had manual w/clutch.
