Coupe Championship (Sunday Nights)

So sorry for lagging out guys - probably for the greater good! Taking out Godric on the run down to turn one (sorry chap!) the M6 was understeering mildly round Mugello to say the least, and a bout of lag over my last lap or so left me paranoid of getting near anyone, before eventually finding myself on an empty track with a signed out notification! Oh well, any chance of a seat at Le Mans tomorrow...?
A relatively strong performance from the Evora at Mugello, unaided I might add by Aero, which took damage early in the race. A good start saw me take places after a tentative first corner and drive solidly in battle with the Viper, momentarily claiming the lead after banana's lagg induced downshift giving me an advantage.
Until my own mistake put me behind and into third. Tyres contributed their piece and I found myself battling for third, then fourth as grip lessened and errors crept in.
An EPIC battle for fourth occupied the last half of the race with me and andy swapping the place on a lap by lap basis. As the race drew to a close I thought I had it. Unfortunately, two errors on the last lap put paid to that and I rolled in behind the NSX, with a recovering Muria right up my back bottom. A thrilling race, no bring on Le Mans!

Great race for me last night, everyone was playing silly buggers in the first lap so it was hard to overtake. Then I got alittle tap from FM (my own fault though, should have backed off) and I flew into the tyre wall. Thinking my race was over considering the body and suspension damage I had, until I coaught the pack up. Mangaed to take place after place then found myself behind the viper! Some battling took place but I triumphed in the end. Kept a steady gap for a fair few laps untill the second to last corner on the last lap. I ran wide weeping: The viper went sailing past to take the flag.
Oh well, best race of the series for me. I'm gunna be way down at le man, the lambo struggles for power and speed so I can see it being a long night tonight.
Rob: My PI has been at 690 since before the ring and I have been mid pack untill now so no need to change. now I'm dropping PI I should be 680 not 670. Doubt anyone cares but dont want anyone to think I am cheating.

A hard night of racing, started 7th, trouble from ahead seen the Lambo, Viper & Vette stuff it 3 abreast into the fast chicane with genepool suffering on the outside although he flew back up the field in no time. The M6 went wide then Sixpot & Andy tangled behind the Lotus which all promoted me to 4th. Squeezed past Godric into 3rd thinking ` woo..this is all right..I can hold the podium slot...` then a lag related incident smashed the Evora into the Vette from above which put me upside down in the gravel with a dead engine which took 3 laps worth of limping to sort out ..
Having trouble with the hosting for the round up atm..

I'm not sure whether I'll be around tonight without some serious rejigging of the Vipers purpose. It needs some major gearing mods to get it down that straight at le mans. Currently tops out around 160.

Yep Nick, was absolutely superb race mate - really enjoyed that - I've dropped everything off the NSX that doesn't add any power so I can at least see the far side of 200mph now - what effect that'll have around the rest of the track who knows..... Until my own mistake put me behind and into third. Tyres contributed their piece and I found myself battling for third, then fourth as grip lessened and errors crept in.
