Regarding the bit of me acting a dick. What i actually said after you giving me my options of 1) pass when it suits you or 2) you'll make it as hard as possible was "or 3 , i could just take you out" as in, like you just did to sidewayz. I never said i was going to and it was quite obvious i wasn't attempting to when i caught up to you.

And the bit about not seeing sidewayz, bks. The first incident if you drive in cockpit view could of been unlucky. The second one, there was no need for you to swerve to the right like you did to hit sidewayz. Even if you didn't see him, there was no need to put your car where you did, it wasn't the line you'd take through the corner.

But hey, you must be right and we must all be wrong. After all the FIA does say...rolleyes

I will state this as factually as possible.

I was very slow compared to the front runners because Always slammed the door on me at Abbey on the first or second lap. That cause me to hit him, I couldn't avoid him. I didnt make a issue of it until he started having a go at me much later in the race because I know how hard it is to keep track of the people around you when you are breaking for a corner and trying to take a line.

The second incident with Always was a case in point. I didnt know he was there, i didn't even know Id hit him on the pit straight until he threw it at me after incident three. Incident three was at bridge when I moved over to take the corner, again no knowing where he was and put him into the bridge butress. I appologised after the incident and he didnt accept. His perogative.

Smokey incident one was when I had to turn for a corner and he decided to sit behind me. If he had 10 seconds a lap over me like he claimed he could have gone around the outside. If infact he had 10 seconds a lap over me he should have had me on the way out of abbey as opposed to bhing all the way through bridge.

The second incident with Smokey came as a result of his annouced intent to put me off the road when he lapped me again. If someone announces that sort of intent. I think fk em and try to make their lives living hell before they either get me or get past. Dont be a dick and i wont be one back.

The incident with whoever it was at magello? I assume you are talking about when I was taking the hairpin to the s/f straight and a car was very slow on the racing line, like so slow, I had a yellow engine and still hit em, again by accident. Contrary to popular belief, i dont make it my lifes mission to distroy every car on the circuit as both y2Blade and SixPot24 can attest from last night.

I digress, Incident at magello, hairpin, ok. I also seem to remember that your very mature response to my little tap on the hairpin was to hit me full speed full gas as i was pitting, completly wrecking my car. If you want to talk about poor racing attitude, how about looking at yourself?

I was thinking about bowing out of this tournament as I have been the center of a lot of controvosy surounding it, car choice and now last night. But I will not, I will continue to contest, and to defend track position. All I ask is that if anyone laps me, they let me know they are there and make a move at a sensable place, not in technical corners.

I have had my say, donned my nomex and now await the enevitable flaming.
Neil, Godric, wkshaft, however you wish to be addressed: I think you need to take a good look at what you have just written, as the amount of people that are having accidents in which you are either cause or consequence is highly irregular. It seems I can't join a lobby without utterance of "Oh God I thought you were Godric.." or something similar. Your driving style is most unorthadox as is the manner in which you conduct yourself on the race circuit. I know this is not real life, neither is it the most simulation-orientated of games, but the whole point of this section of the forum and threads like this is for people who like to race closely and fairly and have a bit of banter whilst at it. Not to come across as rude but you are rather a long way off the pace, and as such should respect those racing closely and get away from the racing line, not swerve into them with the excuse "Sorry mate, didn't see ya". Talking from first hand experience, if you drove like that in a real motor race, you would have
been summoned before the stewards and no doubt excluded from the meeting. Just try not to drive like such and arse please.

Regards, the bloke from Mugello.

P.S. Sorry if my racing line speed is a little too slow for you coming through the final hairpin, maybe you should try it at that speed and you might not have quite so many accidents.

With reduced front end downforce, I was in places trying to use the kurbs to drag the car around the corners. This was the cause of my irregular racing lines.

And as you say i said, and i say i said, and i have repeated here. Give me good warning that you are there and I will do my best to keep out of your way. Dont tell me you are there and I probably wont notice you. Dont tell me you are there and I wont, unless its easy for me to do, get out of your way.

If you dont like that, Im sorry, but its the policy I have always adopted.

ETA for Chucky: The fact that I tapped you sqaure on on the apex of the corner indicates that you were going slow on the racing line and I would have made the corner.

Yeah sorry Neil I forgot. I approached the bend off-line in the first place trying to avoid the no doubt avoidable acciden you chose to cause with Rob's Aston through the S-bend before. Cheers

Get past you if we can rofl

It's not all that difficult really, you can't string more than 4 corners together without falling off the track.

Nick, I have no axe to grind as when we've been in the same room I've had few, if any issues with you. Whether I've just been lucky in that is open to question...

All I would say is there a lot of people who have raced with you who question your approach to something that is supposed to be fun and if the hosts of each individual lobby kick you out because of this you won't have a chance to continue racing...

Uhh Andy, what about when you came up to lap him last Monday in the Coupe Champ re-run, you came up to lap him going through the S-bend before leading on to the long straight, and he just took you straight off because "he was entitles to take the racing line". Fortunately for you it wasn't a proper race as he dealt you some serious damage and screwed you out of a certain podium.

And Smokey, all I can say is hehe harsh but true

The thing with godric is, he does a senna on you. You know, what they were explaining on top gear the other week how senna would stick it into a corner and let you decide if there was going to be an acident or not. He doesnt seem to have any regard for other cars on track and can not adjust his driving techniques to compensate for a slower driver defending his position. We are all entitled to defend our positions against those trying to overtake but if you do it to godric and he hits you then its your fault for being there.

There are those that are the exact opposite, first race at camino, me, polarbert and andy had a great fight for a good 10 laps or more. I got a little nudge but nothing serious and it was a truly memorable race for me atleast. Sunday, stumpyalan caught me for the last lap and really I should of let him pass but we fought it out and I kept him behind, no contact, just some fantastic racing and thats how it should be done.

Thats the last I will say about it all as I dont want to ruin Rob's championship and I'm sorry for any spelling and grammer errors. Just finished my shift and I'm tired. Night folks.

Nick you need to be more considerate and use you mirrors, we are all here to have fun...and having an hour long race ruined by some inconsiderate and ignorant tt is NOT fun

I have said from the start that YES you did give ME room to pass each time I lapped you but others were not so lucky

PS your Lotus is going to be a weapon when it is in R2 class in a couple of weeks

Dont worry im trying to defend godric, just thought chuck was just bringing out the big guns to bring godric down in. But from the sound of it there is no doubt i will have time in this champ to make my own judgement. A run in with godric seems inevitable hehe

P.S. despite this discussion got had hand it to Sidewayz this is pretty awesome championship

now, now boys, lets put the toys back in the prams, i haven't seen the race but it seems that godrics racing is being called into question, lets see what happens in the next race, and take it from there.

i understand accidents happen but taking out the leaders that are lapping is not racing, you need to keep an eye on the map

Godric best behavior please, or i'll have no option !!!!

Cheers Rob
