Was a nightmare last night - no way i can do another hour on that so if you can hang on till about 850-855 that would be good.

Actually think if i'd done this to the car earlier I might have done better... still got zero torque but at least it's got something at the top end now....

The only track mt 911 would go well at.

Stated okay, did a dirty lap for quali, ( not hard the damn thing stops like a 50s chevy!)

Bob and storm had a coming together early on, and I think Bob was waiting for storm to get back on track, I misjudged it badly and thought he was accelerating, and hit him. Not great. In retrospect fella I wish I had just taken to the gravel, very sorry.

So bob and me limp to the pits, and we then re join the battle, with The leaders some 11,000ft ahead.

However most of the people ahead of me are having issues either actual game console related on battle damage. So I get lucky and catch up the field.

Have to pit late on, which then puts me into a battle with Rob for the lead, I just sneak it, although Rob is very gentlemanly as we go though the porsche Curves as I am so slow there.

So happy in the end, the 911 won a race.
Great championship, just wish I had scored better in the early rounds.

Still roll on the hot hatches!

To quote last night "Blimey, we're keeping things close in the Special Olympics lobby"

For our first 8 laps there must have only been 800 feet between the four of us. Places swapped regularly with Gogs' NSX Monstering down every straight, Andy was quick round the corners and FMs 'Vette seemed to eat the Tiv alive on the brakes.

The Tuscan provided more cold sweats than anything else Halloween had to offer, a spine chilling slide just after the dunlop bridge being one such event. However once saved the TVR continued on it's "Knife Edge" exploration of La Sarthe.

As always a pleasure to race with you gents! smile

Good work Rob well deserved thumbup

I'm well pleased with second overall, especially being my first large scale championship.

Decent night for me last night as well. Never expected to be able to beat Rob as I was so far down on PI but pleased with 4th, I don't think I had any chance to be further up.

Bring on the hatchbacks smile

Congratulations on the series win Rob, sure was tough competition in this one & a very enjoyable championship indeed. Well done all for the excellent racing all season.

Enjoyed last night, a tough little race with positions swapping nicely. Kodiak was just too fast & more importantly consistent to deny him the win, Andy was never far away from nabbing victory too & Gog was on fine form until the accident.

Round up from Le Mans lobby 2, lobby 1 to follow..

I like this photo, shows what a bh it was trying to get round the twisties, every tiny bit of gas and the arse was kicking out. Apart from this was having a great race, really thought I had a chance of winning this one up until the point where andy asked how peoples tyres were wearing and I badly missed my braking point for the first chicane on the mulsanne 210 to 0 really quickly lol. 100% body damage everywhere and all the brakes/suspension and steering red too. Lost over 2 minutes on the pack getting back to the pits as the car was turning left constantly so I could only keep it on the track up to about 80mph. After that, I had lost about 30mph of top speed so I had to settle for pounding round hoping for everyone else to fall off badly.

ps If you look at the photo of andy you can see my crash happening in the background

edited to add, dont look at the horrible chavvy wheels i had to put on, they were the only ones I could find that would drop me the 2 pi I needed to lose.
