Added a new tower on to the castle, hit the upper build limit while building it though  . Steps to the top are not finished since I fell off them and cant be arsed going back up to fix it.  that small stone building in the foreground is the entrance to an underground canal which doesnt seem to do much other than chew up boats.

Hehe. Even watching others play is addictive enough. I've already planned my first build. Takes a nod from your castles, and adds some childhood cartoon nerd-factor into it. It's ambitious, but I'll not s  t, shave or shampoo until it's built. Well, I'll try and get it done over the forthcoming week.  ETA: does it create a globe? So, if you were to mine straight down you'd come out of the other side?

Now played around 3 hours on my first map. Resources are pretty damn scarce, there are no reliable seams of metal visible anywhere so I'm considering levelling a mountain or two

I've just set up a mutliplayer server. If you guys want, I could let you all join? - could be fun. persistant world, so your buildings are saved.

I just started a random new world (not getting very far at the moment) only to see that it is snowing all over the land! Maybe it is because it is running on a (currently) non Internet connected PC? Who knows...
