@ Robb, what's will all the signs with random numbers on? 
I've TNT'd the spawn area under the tower and it's down to sea level now. Are you wanting the area behind the portal levelling as well? I have ample TNT to quickly remove that if need be. 
Also looked in server settings to see if weather could be turned off, but no option to do that. Gay/lame* (delete as appropriate ).
@ Steve (wildcards), still waiting to hear from you about your abandoned spawn base. You've not been online for a long time so I presume you're not playing anymore but if you don't let me know one way or the other within the next 24 hours it's gonna be flattened tomorrow to make way for spawn developments!

The sand genny involves a fair bit of redstone stuff and pistons, but the snow genny is a piece of piss - just enclose a snow golem and use pistons behind to push it into the front corner, then put a block of obsidian down on the outside of the enclosure where the golem is overhanging, and then just spam your spoon on the snow that keeps re-appearing from the golem on the obsidian block. Just an update for those on the Tekkit server:
Diamond house is free dor all, feel free to use any resources, take as many diamonds etc, as you like. Use machines or generators, just do not break teh systems please.
The massive warehouse to the left of the diamond house is an automated factory, ideally do not enter it at all, if you are curious how it works, come in but do not flip any levers or break any tubes wiring etc. It is currently creating medium voltage arrays and MV transformers. Just one of the solar arrays is enough to power your own house until you get to forcefield, teleporter level which is far away, but it should give you a leg up. Solar arrays are manufactured at about the rate of 2 per day so be considerate for the time being. The solar arrays and MV transformers will be outputted into a chest just outside of the factory, so there is no need to enter it at all and soon, entering it will electrocute you to death so read the warning signs

Finally completed the MV plant.
Am tinking I will stop there for now. Making HV parts is even more complicated and might be done with some help from other players.
But this should save even a an advanced player a few days of mining and setting up so they can just drop in, stake a plot of land and concentrate on building their house, rather than worry about the basic indfrasturcture

And it was me that left the jungle trees unplanted
