That mod looks very cool.

I played Minecraft a LOT for about 2 months. Just singleplayer. I mined loads, then went crazy and built a huge railway with an automatic kart dispensing system. I put in all the work to have it automatically send you the right route too, then I got a bit bored and stopped!

It's very cool though. I might start fresh again and see what I can do smile

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my absolute pleasre to present to you:
Solar factory mk2!

As yo know I have been buildingit over the last three days and in that time it has produced enough components for and assembled 8 HV solar arrays or in other words 4096 solar panels! that is 682 hours worth of manual labour so far alone, or in other words about a month of non stop crafting.

Considering it takes about 10 minutes to create one solar panel by hand that is 682 hours worth of manual labour so far alone, or in other words about a month of non stop crafting.

Next on the list is an MFSU factory, and if anyone wants to team up with me to make it, i'll be very grateful.

Looking good Yev! spin

I've just made some nano armour, how cool is this?! Creeper explosions in your face only do half a heart of damage and you can stand in the middle of a field of mobs pummeling you and it won't damage you more than 5 hearts! Awesome. spin

I'll help. Haven't got any resources to use though so I'd just be a pair of hands smile

Cool! Don't need any resources really, just want to make it more of a community project and get people learning whilst doing this smile
Afterall, once MFSU is done, we could then make all sorts of factories, quantum armor, jetpack, carbon plates and alloys etc etc.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of cobble in the ocean.

It looks fantastic, I'm sure I can find a bit of water. You're still jealous of my Minecraft skills, aren't you? hehe.

It says I haven't been white-listed.

So, it looks like we are ditching the original MC server in favour of this tekkit one? I cant see why i will play on the original server now.

Have any of you gone back to the original server since taking up tekkit?

There is no "ditching" at all. People are still playing on it - there were several players on there yesterday for example. The problem with Minecraft in general is there is not enough depth to it and so once you've got all your top enchants and a few stacks of diamond blocks there is really no point to it anymore unless you have a creative mind and enjoy building stuff. I can see Tekkit being the same after a while, but it has more depth to it and more stuff to do. Personally I've played BC (Buildcraft) and EE (Equivalent Exchange) before, albeit early versions without all the stuff they have in them now, and yeah it's fun for a while but once you had a few quarries running and your transmutation tables set up to turn it all into diamonds and high level stuff it quickly got boring. I've not played with IC (IndustrialCraft) or RP (RedPower) stuff before so a good 50% of the stuff in Tekkit is new to me and it's pretty good fun.
