Well wool is the obvious answer but I didn't want something that might burn down - the clay seems a good shout and goes well with the whole 'sailing around to find it' nautical theme - will have a think!I still have but one running tap in the kitchen of Paolow manor though so some IRL Minecraft might need to take priority over the server but will be on when I can - or when I get sick of facing the reality of my own dismal home....

I was wondeirng if there is a Pistonheads server on the go (touchy subject i've been told).
If there is, what are the requirements to join, and minimum requirements to play (if it's modded).

No modded server as they're too much hassle dealing with inevitable lag from badly coded mods, crashes, server resets, incompatibilies when new versions of the game are released etc, but we have a vanilla one which you are welcome to join. It's only a "touchy subject" when one-post wonders sign up to PH with no history, want to play on the server and then cry a river when I decline them access. I've been playing the game long enough to know the signs and my gut feeling is usually right when I spot a potential griefer. Current server and world has been running since 27 October 2013 and we have had no player issues nor any reason to get heavy handed with anyone. All the guys that play know to respect other folks' work and not nick their stuff unless they leave a sign letting the OP know and it just works.
We do unfortunately have a resident troll by the name of Ch3wY who likes to dig holes under people's bases whilst holding shift so you can't see them but can hear them and also shoot arrows at other players from out of view range, but he can't help it and we just sigh and roll our eyes at him.
I have tried teach him to be a well-behaved responsible adult like myself instead of being a trouble-causer but it's a waste of time and we just accept him for who he is now. *Ch3wY may make some whiney noises about there being one or two inaccuracies in that last paragraph but don't take any notice of him, he's just making it up.

Not played on vanilla for a while so should be fun getting back to basics and seeing what the latest updates have added.
Only warning is i may be on at unusual hours as i work a rota with 26 shifts (mostly nights).
Regarding Ch3wy, have you tried the 'carrot and the stick treatment'.... or since its minecraft the carrot on a stick treatment.

I completed a semi-auto tree farm today. It's in the corner of the tree's, underground at the spawn area. I sign posted it quite well so it should be simple to use.
The cow farm I did is also started to work a little better as it has more cows in the 1x2 slot. There must be 30+ cows in that as they take a full stack of wheat when breeding. Leather and cooked steak (almost) aplenty.

He's always prime suspect whenever there's chickens involved!! Strange though as I've not seen him in the server logs, hmm. Mat??
