The slimes spawning was a right pain especially when you are trying to deal with lava

I made a load of iron picks and just kept digging

Would be great if someone who knows what they are doing sorts out the best villager trades

@ whoever segregated the sheep pen - it just doesn't work. Most of the time if you need wool you need a large amount of a few different colours. For example I needed a load of brown wool just now, but there were only 4 brown sheep in a pen. To just use those and wait for them to regrow would've taken hours. We had a similar set up on the last world and while it looked nice and fancy and efficient, the reality was that it was a royal pain in the arse obtaining large amounts of one colour. That was the reason I decided on having a large pen full of sheep and people can take their own dyes to get whatever colour they need. Yes it's basic, but it's a simple solution that just works. RobbF would agree with me here as he did the same on a previous world we had when he was into his pixel art.


ETA: If there are any players with a beacon and efficiency 5 pick I wonder if they would be so kind as to remove the last few layers in the slime farm? I have removed a large lava lake that was there so shouldn't take long. The reason I've not done any "farm" stuff there yet is because I need about 250 hoppers and a lot of cactus. I've been collecting resources for both and should be able to do it tomorrow.


@ LPSN, I've filled in that lava lake for you in your base. Looked like you could've used a hand with it.

Also the lava lake wasn't filled in earlier, I finished that off this afternoon...unless I've missed something?

I just need to sort out a viewing area now, the problem is, I got my orientation wrong and I've built it under the logo/water, so I can't dig up too high.

Is someone missing a load of coloured clay? My mailbox appears to have a lot in it which I haven't mined out.

The WIP slime farm can now be reached via the signpost in the nether. It's not within the spawn chunks so will need to be active in the area for them to spawn. A good AFK spot would be out in the field above the farm, opposite Bobhughes' place. You're too close to the platforms for them to spawn in large quantities when at the collection point via the nether.

I need large amounts of leather/books and sugar cane for villager trading if anyone can help. Librarians take a lot to fully unlock and I've just about run out of emeralds. I have most of the enchanting trades unlocked already but prices are still high on some of them.

I put the clay in your mailbox a couple of days ago. There is a load of bone meal in the tree farm and I harvested loads of wood and put the spare wood in the sapling chest if anyone needs it.
