Minecraft - £8 Very well spent

I logged on Sunday night I think around midnight with tom_01.

I stayed at my tower and did not wonder over there.

I see it's the "nothing to do with me" answer then. Server not coming back until one of you admits blame for it as I've lost about 5 days of work from it and am not happy. I'm not providing a server for untrustworthy liars and there's no way those villagers have died through accident as the cells are zombie proof and rail track has been left from where someone has been up to no good. The track didn't place itself so one of you is responsible for it.

I'm not happy either as I spent ages yesterday collecting arrows for the chest in the trading hall, putting enchanted armour in the chests and stocking up the tree farm with bonemeal.

Hope whoever done it has a good explanation. Looks like the villagers have been moved via a cart and the tracks?

Definitely not me or monkeyspeed as we helped get them there in the 1st place and know how much effort it took and we made the initial trading centre
Not at all happy someone has done this as they were put there for us all to use for trade

I'm investigating whether a backup exists for earlier in the evening but I fear it's already been overwritten by the following day's. Lost all interest in it since this as there's no point continuing if there are immature griefers on the white-list.

I know it isnt possible to look now as the server is offline, but do either the tracks lead anywhere or has any house/building gained any suspiciously good trading villagers?

Hopefully someone owns up to it soon, i was enjoying being a part of building various things to contribute (as everything was already done on the last server when i joined), shame someone doesnt appreciate all the hard work put into the stuff on there, especially the villagers as i know that they take AGES and loads of resources to get decent trades

Already looked but nothing to be seen. The remaining ones on that side have all been traded with as the paper trade needs refreshing on them all. Bobhughes said he only traded with the paper trade one in the corner so someone has been using the others. It seems like someone has wanted the trades on the others but they were already expired and needed refreshing so killed them out of frustration. Some random bits of track were already on the floor but there's a new track to the Punch II cell which wasn't there. I had a villager in a cart awaiting processing as I'd run out of paper again, that one has disappeared with the others. Can't see someone ferrying them out somewhere as it'd need a very long track.

Seems pretty, well, stupid to kill them just because they need refreshing, not like we have nothing to trade with them..but, then again, doing anything bad with them is kinda stupid :/

I'm just about done with it. Had a blazing argument with the host over their incompetence with the backup management. Because it took them over 24hrs to respond to the ticket, the backup which would have rolled us back to prior to the incident had already been overwritten by the following days. So the world is as it is for you to play on but I await someone to come forward and agree to take over the payment and management as I'm not doing it anymore. Got enough problems to deal with without this as well.

It is one of the best servers I have been on and have enjoyed working on projects with other people and making things that everyone can use

Unfortunately I do not have the time or money to run the server full time, not that I would want to after this incident.

Guess it's back to single player for me

I used to play a long time ago (on the first PH server), name the same as on here and sometimes check this thread to see whats going on.

ATJ, are you sure that something daft hasn't happened? I know the game can be buggy sometimes. I am just recalling that time me and a friend took a few sheep from your place to populate my abbey.

We grabbed 2 from the pen and closed it up again, we then led them back a really bloody long way back to my place on foot only for you to find the next day that your pens were almost empty. It turned out loads of your sheep had escaped from the pen (looking like we had let them all out).

I'm not sure what happened there but there must have been some sort of glitch as they were certainly all in the pens when we left with our two sheep, possible something simerlar has happened here?

No, there is enough evidence to say foul play was involved. I had villager trading halls on the previous world for over 12 months across various game versions and not a single one disappeared.

I'm still waiting for someone to come forward and take over the running and funding of the server. Next payment is due on 20 April. It works out about £15 per month and there are 5 of you that are regularly on so I'm sure you can rustle up £3 per month between yourselves.
