Might aswell join this because my playstation barely ever gets used these days. Got a couple of questions though, does it use much of my internet download limit? Also what's the longest I should leave my PS3 doing this before it starts having problems? Because if I leave it on overnight I will probably forget to turn it off in the day and I might do that for a few days in a row.

[/quote] I'm almost ashamed to think that you were taking the piss when you said the PS3 was helping out with finding cures for the desease mentioned!
However I have read up and its a good cause so I have joined the team and my PS3 is doing something or other for the next few hours. I'm going to leave it on overnight and see what happens.

To be honest i thought the exact same thing until i read a couple of the links. My wifes uncles died from Parkinsons last year and it would be nice to think that we are contributing to finding a cure to some of these awful diseases.
it was down about this time yesterday too - took about an hour of failed attempts to upload some results
i see we are up to about 30'000th now aswell. not bad going already
~ edit, mind most of our score seems to be down to Russell, i think he's going for the nobel peace prize
