The Object 416 is worth the A44 grind though
Does that have the same gun depression issues? Looks as flat as a pancake on top, cant have much?Gun depression is one of those things that you don't really think about until you are in a tank that doesn't have it, then its really annoying.

I don't know about the Obf 416. Another rear mounted turret with no gun depression and in this instance it doesn't even rotate a full 360 degrees. Hmmmm Gun depression is one of those things that you don't really think about until you are in a tank that doesn't have it, then its really annoying.
I do hear good things about it, however given the obvious drawbacks I am not convinced that it is worth my time continuing the grind through the A-44 just to get yet another tank with no gun depression.
I would be happy to be persuaded otherwise.
Some vehicles seem to have a random seed generated when you buy them that determines if you're going to be lucky with them or cursed.
I can't buy a win with my T1 Cunningham; It's failteam after failteam. I have a 35% win rate with it after 20 games despite getting 2 Top Guns and Ace Tanker twice as well.
Now I've played this tank before on the EU server and had a 63% win rate after 60 games. Go figure.

Yep, it has depression issues (the 416) Offset by good mobility, good vision great camo and great gun. Basically it plays like a TD/ medium hybrid, sit back and snipe, then mop up at the end. I am at 63% win rate with it, vs my overall average of 51% - guess it just suits me - I tend not to be good a brawling
Plays like a much more effective ELC

So I found a new game.....
World of tanks meets minecraft.
Robocraft.
Build a fighting machine (totally sandbox) and test it out against others... with hilarious results (especially for those with a poor grasp of physics).
During the battle you take damage, but this involves losing blocks off your robot, including armour, wheels, engines, guns etc. so a good hit on a flying machine will send it flailing out of control as it loses an engine / totally changes its CofG.

I believe the Wolverine was the most common TD with the western allies. The Hellcat and Jackson came slightly later, but weren't produced in so many numbers.
Many of Wolverines were up-gunned with the same British 17-pounder gun as the Sherman Firefly and renamed Achilles. I can remember seeing one in the Bovington Tank Museum.
In fact here it is:
In the background to the right is the turret of a Tiger II.
