Have been playing this since open Beta, and love it. Didn't realise this thread was here, as I don't normally browse the computing forums.

Agree that the Tiger is a pants tank, and seems to get wasted way too easily when pitted against similar level Russian tanks, but I've still gone the German route after the reset.

Not too worried about progressing to the German heavy tanks, as I feel that you often get pitched in to more evenly matched battles when using the fully kitted PzIV or the VK3601H. Occasionally find myself in a hopelessly outclassed battle using these tanks, but also get to fight in some really good matches where it's actually possible to kill a few of the opposition.

Will have to look up the PH channel to see what that's all about.

VK3601 is my favorite - all the best battles have been in that. However, last night I really got to grips with the King Tiger, and had 11 kills in one game! I then bought the next tier up, and what a slow and useless lump that is!

I was in a game a couple of days ago where someone managed 10 kills, and that was in a 3601. Pretty impressive stuff, but 11 is mighty.

Just got back into this again after the beta (much to my wife's disgust!) and having a storming time with the Loltraktor. They seem to have mostly fixed the matchmaking system and I've been having an awesome time taking out noobs in my Loltraktor - it is surprisingly good with the upgrades and you seem to be only matched against very similar tanks.

Being a bit of a pik*y I am loathe to pay for gold and all that guff so I figured that was WoT finished for me after the wipe. Well impressed that is not the case and even more impressed that those one-sided battles seem to have gone. There is such a thing as a free lunch!

Has anybody seen the revised tech trees and ALL the additional tanks they want to introduce? There must be 40 new tanks in the pipeline if the tech trees are to be believed!

There are still a few tanks that seem to pitch you in to battles against much sterner stuff; the PzIII often finds itself totally outclassed. There are also a few tanks that seem to get decent battles, at least most of the time. A fully kitted PzIV can hold it's own in a lot of matches, thanks to an accurate gun and the lack of stupidly armoured heavy tanks.

I've also kept a 35(t) in the garage as that too often gets fun matches with no artillery. Happy times.

I had a lot of good battles with my Hetzer with the big gun on it. Slow but impressively bangy

I've just upgraded to a StugIII and as it's currently stock, it sucks.

Trying to get to a KV cos I'm fed up of getting pwned by them.

Finally trying to work my way up to a Panther but the Pz III/IV is a bit pants.

Still...haven't paid a penny for it yet and loving it.

Another tank that is always outclassed... the t-46. In 13 battles I have 5 kills.... most kills in a battle.... also 5!

so basically I've been mismatched 12 times out of 13....

However a fully upgraded T-26 or a PzJgr1 seem to be superb

going down the Russian route as their later tanks seem to be awesome.

I looove the T-28. Punches well above it's weight especially when you get the big fk off 85mm Gun.

Hate the A-20 with a passion though. Fast moving peashooter doesn't match my cowardly hiding, sneaky ways

I just got the 152mm for my KV today, wow it can do some damage. I just one shot a KV3 in the side and I actually laughed out loud. You brew a drink while it reloads though.
