And with the low tier arty, if you get a grey line it means your target is out of range. Tend not to get this with the high tier stuff as their range usually covers the entire map.

Just had this strange one. Score is 14-4 to my team, yet there are still two 'live' tanks on the enemy team.  The enemy team list is only showing the E75 as still being alive, which is on full health up by the castle, but there is a Frenchie just around the corner ahead of me still showing 600+ health. The only thing I can think of is that the crew are all dead.

Mon dieu, ce char, c'est totalement merde (I said that in one game when playing the AMX40, got a few lol's and one "speak english you *****", which was a shame).
Odd, I wonder if a med kit would have caused it to re-appear in the listings...resurrecting tanks, can't imagine that would go down well.
Disconnected and timed out?

Artillery over view mode is engaged/disengaged using the button you would normally use for sniper mode in a normal tank.

You were completely correct  I like taking the chance to exercise my German when I spot a few people using it, it's nice. And Cheese, with artillery you always want the top gun, I haven't found any exceptions yet! And it's often a massive upgrade

And I think with the SU-26, you want to use the second type of non-gold shells available for the bigger gun, as they do a lot more damage.
I have occasionally been know to reply 'Jawohl!' in response to orders

Cheese - Left shift again First round in an m41 I got a master tanks badge, it's still my best round  Just played a round on Mountain Pass where 3 of the enemy camped at the South base, unfortunately one was a T95 that our team just couldn't get by and soaked up about 10 of my arty shells. From 7vs4 we lost, and I ran out of rounds again.

The turret means it doesn't lose focus when you follow a moving target. I believe it is customary to only use HE with arty as it's far more effective. I haven't got any arty now as everything after the SU26 seems worse.

Well that was a good use of my x2 first victory bonus  This bloody AMX40 is so slow the fightings usually over by the time I get there, the aim time is so slow that someone else as usually killed a target while I'm still waiting for a decent aim, and when I do get shots off (3 in this game, 2 hits) they don't do any damage! The scary thing is 4 people got worse scores than me!

The Vk2801 where the game is either dire and it is all over quickly or great fun where you do well.
Today it was the latter. On Himmelsdorf I went to the train tracks, north to south. A rare no arty game. I got spotted halve was down by a SU100 so was hiding when I spotted an ELC AMX hiding so I shot and do 90% damage. Out he pops to run towards me and shoot in front and down he goes.
Still hiding from the SU a T50 comes hunting me and two shots and he is dead.
By this time my team engaged the SU and I had a shot on his side - 1 shot to the side and he died although he had been hit already.
I thought I was doing ok so went towards the enemy base to make them come back to find an afk tank. Shot that a bit until a Jagdpanther came looking for me. He was on 27% health. I got one shot on him then he one on me. As soon as he fired I went to his side and finished him off. Next was the afk tank.
Annoyingly I nearly finished off two other tanks so ended the game with just 5 kills.
Sometimes everything just seems to click and others not. Still had shockers in other tanks.

Disconnected and timed out? If all the crew are killed even the med kit won't help, the icons disappear and the tank just sits there. The time it happened to me, red team just drove past, so I guess the tank didn't look active. Perhaps these Frenchies were afk or just given up, seems appropriate.

I've seen a tank with a dead crew before in an earlier release, and the tank itself didn't look like a burnt out wreck that they normally turn to once destroyed, but the symbols above the tank were dulled as happens when you kill a tank. That wasn't the case with this one the other day. Everything about it gave the appearance of being a live tank, other than the fact that it was listed as dead in the team listing.

Seen it a few times and happened to me once, very frustrating! No you can't use a medikit.
Looks the same as those that suicide by driving into water. Dulled out but still have HP left.

Looks the same as those that suicide by driving into water. Dulled out but still have HP left. I think I read in the WIKI that there is at least one tank where if both crew are killed, the tank is effectively out of the game even if it has hit points left - can't remember which one(s) though.

Any tank that has all its crew killed (not just injured) is out of the game, no matter whether you have 2 or 6 crew members. Obviously less likely to have >3 out but I have seen a T95 and IS3 with all dead crew.
