Lots of people on the main WOT forums also reporting FPS drops and such with the new patch, hopefully it gets sorted out soon for everyone affected. It seems like a sizeable number of complaints so must be something wrong, the first test on the test server didn't have these problems so fingers crossed the cause and solution can be hot patched out.
Luckily for me I seem to have gotten away with it - the auto detect graphics settings (which used to default to minimum for some odd reason) now set me to maximum, and getting a stable 40-50 fps which is the same as pre patch but with slightly higher settings. The occasional CTD I was getting in game too seems to have gone, although that might just be luck on the relatively few games played last night.
Those new HD models are nice though, haven't seen a tortoise up close but will look out for one.

I was up the west side of Cliff, wonder if it was something like an object that I couldn't render? Had that a few times in the past with VBS2.

Happened again just now, back to dektop loaded game again went back to same battle and instantly back to desktop.
Hope this aint a sign of things to come as 2 months ago upgraded GFX card and operating system just because of this flippin game which was crashing my pc, at the time even than it started to happen after they put an update.
Just looked on the forums and it seems it is happening to lots of people.

t evening that's been. Admittedly I'm a bit rubbish at the moment having only been playing a few days after a year or more layoff but even so, won about 50% of the games tonight but have generally been in the bottom 5 for most of them 
Only managed about 2k XP qualifying towards a mission in 20 games!
