There is the 'game of the year' edition of Fallout 3 that includes all of the DLC..... but I heard (a while ago) that game saves from normal copies of the game don't work so you have to start again (i would check this though)
It worked fine on mine.... The GOTY Edition that is, so I just carried on from a last saved point and away I went..Oh, what weapon in the Repcon Headquarters!?!?!?

There is a really good looking gun/rifle which must be a special but its has a force field type protective beam around it. The gun from crashed aircraft is very powerful so this looks the same sort of thing you need to pick the lock to get into the room at Repconn 2nd floor I think.
Hmm, I may need to have a stroll around there again then... I don't recall seeing anything in a force field..Ah the Crashed Vertibird one is a Tesla Cannon IIRC - you need a few weapon repair kits for it but yes it is fun.. Saying that I found the pulse gun pretty efficient.

I am liking the upgrade so your companions show up on the map, handy when they womble off, or get stuck somewhere.
Where/what enables this? Is it a patch, or PC mod?MoleVision said:
Has anyone got the ion cannon from Helios 1 working? If I'd known about it when I did that quest I may have turned it on instead of sparing the guards!
is it worth it?
The EuClid C Finder ? Yes. I got that gun once and armed it. It bring down a fairly groovy hail of fire from the sky (satellite?) but I found it quite difficult to target so gave up on it in the end (it has I think 2 shots in each 24 hour period).is it worth it?

Don't fire it near you though it blew my character into the air and only just survived it
That was one of the reasons why I didn't use it another game I played. I VATS targetted someone who was near to me and then they charged and got near me by the time it fired and I was toast.......... Maybe I was just pants at using it.chuntington101 said:
By the way, has anyone completed the game yet? if so how amny hours did it take?
I've completed it 3 times so far. Think I've put in over 120 hours though.... Stopped at the moment as Battlefield 2 was calling me...... But I have to go back at some stage to win it for the NCR.chuntington101 said:
just figured out, well watched a vid on youtube, on how to play caravan! Now i have no worries about ammo or those expensive mods. Simply find a trader or two and go buy all the decent ammo you need. Then simply win all yous money back by playing caravan. Wish i had done this earlier in the game. A great tip for new players!
Is there an easy way to play this? I find using hollow points in the 10mm machine gun sorts out Cazadors. Plus I do like shooting them with an incinerator at range then killing them as they flame into range of the 10mm...
But they are hard b***rds to kill, especially when 3-4 adults come to attack at once... The odd frag grenade can even things up a little.

How do i travel to the Legates camp, I can't find a route?
I love this game!
As in after the battle of the Dam? Go along the dam to the end and there is a path off to the left. I love this game!
A few legionaires will come down the path (I think 4) and you just head past them and to the fort.

I discovered the Crashed Vertibird location last night (well, I have the Explorer Perk and I was on my way to Cottonwood Cove so though I'd check it out). That weapon, I can't remember the name, is pretty damn good.
There's an airport nearby and I killed a rather large creature with one shot from a great distance.
Yes it is fun, but it needs a few weapon repair kits to use it or else it will die and you lose it..... There's an airport nearby and I killed a rather large creature with one shot from a great distance.
