No but I always forget to sort my loadout when I start a new map which can be annoying but that's my fault not the games

STOP USING THE stTY AK THEN

If you have selected say with the engineer class the AK... IF you play as USA next round it will automatically switch you over to the much better US equivilent.. The m4a1

This does my nut and was one of the main reasons I stopped using the m4a1

edit: to make it clearer..

with each class there is a bog standard US and RUSSIAN shooty thing.. IF you like playing with a mk mod11 then get use to being given an SVD when you're russian

It's really annoying me at the moment!

pro tip: technically and in game the ak is not the best engineer weapon.

Try using the A91 with grip, pka-s and whatever 3rd attachment you want.... or G36c with grip and whatever other attachments you want

I mostly use the Assault class with the AEK-971 with the M320 and the defibrillator, I very rarely use anything else

the aek was my most used and favorite assault weapon, but since the intro of the overpowered famas I've got equal kills with each now

Back in the day when INVR was overpowered aek+INVR+silencer = KING

IMO the AEK is the best Assault weapon, G36C best Engineer weapon (but A-91 is close), MG36 best Support and Sniper is a tie between the L96, M40 and Barrett. Favourite pistol is either the bog standard 1911 or .44 magnum, but the G18 is hilarious fun. And the best shotgun is the 870, because pump-action is plain cooler than semi or full-auto.

But the PDW-R owns them all

I don't use the FAMAS or USAS because everyone else seems to.

Famas is the fastest killing gun in the game.. FACT

I've got around 1000 kills with the g36c and a91 its very close, depending on shooting style and what attachments you use (such as supressor) a91 clinches it for me

mg36 is the best because you're a sprayer if you get use to the pkp you'll find its very powerful - fast killing and easy to control recoil if you know how, although I love them both

on stats the m98b is most powerful and imo better than the l96 dispite smaller clip size.. I've had great fun with the sks though

magnum is too slow even if it is strong and miss a bullet you're dead. 1911 if I remember correctly is also slightly slower at firing than I'd like if I remember correctly.. g18 is great but for the best all rounder pistol with range, clip size, killing ablity, accuracy etc imo it probably has to be the g17c

shotgun wise.. you can't beat a usas/mk3 with frag, psa holo and supression

finally ASVAL > pdw-r ...If you're aim is better than that of a 12 year old.. The short clip on the asval won't bother you.. its a very powerful little gun

I don't get the attraction of the L96 to be honest. Its no more powerful or accurate than the SV98 i've found. So what do people like about it?

easy to unlock for n00bs and has larger clip size.

I was taking the piss with the frag rounds joke

I used it for a few days when unlocking all the attachments and spamming rounds everywhere then realised I wasnt funny

frag rounds + c4 against a tank is still good fun though "how the fukk did you just blow up my tank with a shotgun?"

still only have 400 kills with the usas

I use it because the british use it. Same reason I have like 17 service stars for the l85. I very rarely use the usas or famas. I find them both boring. I have the m98 but dont tend to use it. Love the m39 emr though. Beautiful headshot machine.

You unlock it by doing one of the 'back to karkland expansion pack challenges'

10 n00b choob kills and 10 revives if I remember correctly!

(not sure if you have the expansion pack, but remember to take off the 12x scope the automatically plonk on there when you unlock it!)

Ah clip size. So a good gun for the inaccurate?
Haven't unlocked the m98 but keep getting killed by it at distance. I'm assuming it doesn't suffer from as much drop?

I run the extended mags and frag rounds as well, although in close quarter fights I tend to commit suicide as I haven't learned not to just open fire and keep shooting till everything is rubble.... : hehe:

My best kill is a headshot on sharqi, from the construction site to the tv station against a recon.
Fire, watch bullet drop, adjust aim. Repeat till enemy dead.

Spent last night chasing people in the skid loader on wake, my mate had strapped 6 c4's to the front so it was a mobile bomb that got a helicopter and a guy running for his life. Road killing the guy who had just killed my friend was also very fun.

Agree with the mav spotting, did this to great effect on sunday, mate in mav, me in tank. Driving around taking the points with the mav acting as my over head guardian. Kept an eye out for enemy's and would scout ahead the next point for me. Very effective if done right.

i am the mate in question usas with frag rounds is easy to beat if you know how. Mav or Jose as i like to call it is fun to roadkill people with but if used right can be an immense help to your team because whats better than knowing where your enemy are and how many of them are there?

I'm not going to lie.. I'm a terrible bolt action sniper.. I fluked a 972 * I think it was on firestorm when I decided I was going to be a pro sniper for a few days

makes light and day difference on TDM, can absolutely rake in the kills on rush! and if you've got a decent team on conquest it can be the icing on the cake!

I've said it before and I'll say it again- I just cannot get on with the G36c. To me it just doesn't drop people as quickly as either the SCAR or the AK-74su at close range, and both of those also seem noticably superior than the G36c on single-shot at range.

But I do get killed by it a LOT, so it could just be that mine is defective!

My favourite guns by far are the G3A3 for assault, the M39 EMR with grip & Acog scope for recon, and the SCAR for engineer. Although I am partial to both the AK-74su and the M4A1- having now unlocked them for both sides I now suffer from those pesky gun-switching issues...

An the A91 doesn't get used as I simply cannot tolerate the look of it on screen when equipped with a scope... Cosmetic issues matter.

I think the A91 is probably the best all round gun in the game...for me. Currently loving the SV98 with an acog. Headshots a-gogo. Just managed to cap a gunner and pilot of a chopper...the fact that they were on the ground is neither here nor there.
