Dunno how I managed a back flip in the chopper whilst flying under a sign then carrying on... Think pexy was gunner.. Lol

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've genuinely seen about 2 people abuse the Dart glitch since it appeared on the 360.

If I understand it, due a bug in the game, each Dart in the shot takes on the same strength as one bullet from the primary weapon when you have certain equipment attached, when you consider that some assault rifles are a 3 bullet kill and each Dart shot contains umpteen darts, you can understand that it makes the combination incredibly powerful.

It seems very popular amongst certain PH players...

Good fun tonight, ranked up and ended seine crossing (bout 10:30pm) with a shoot out with a chap called paul I think, we both killed each other at the same time :-D

It's the M26 mass.. it is over powered but you still leave yourself vulnerable between reloading, and you still have to aim it, not like the usas-12 which I think was crazy and there was nothing you could do when underfire from. Only used it in the last round, won't use it again. In all fairness I get monster kill counts without it, just makes things easier.

I have got so much time for the M249 + bipod at the moment, set it up in the corridor in Bazaar or at a choke point and you can take out entire squads with it. It's also not too shabby at medium ranged firefights and the amount of ammo it holds means you can generally suppress the hell out of any target before finally getting the sights on them to finish them off.


Also had fun in the LAV on Bazaar with the PH server last night until someone Javelined me!

I use the M249 with bipod almost all the time at the mo, agree its lethal when used with the bipod although on quite a few occasions when encountering an enemy on foot I've opened up first and at point blank range but the bd still takes me down with a burst from an assault rifle or a few pistol shots - frustrating! Bazaar was a good round last night

What sights do you use? I'm using a red dot sight at the moment, but may switch to a 3.4x or 4x scope as it's accruate enough without using sights when you've got it set up on the bipod, so having the zoom will allow more accurate fire at longer ranges.

The downside is that when not on the bipode it could well be tricky to hit nearby targets without using the sights, and a zoomed scope is a hindrance at close to medium range.

Do ammo packs (dropped by support troops) run out of ammo after a while?

I think I've seen my own ones disappear when they've been heavily used, so often drop "new" ones so they don't run out, but if they don't run out anyway, then I won't bother in future.

Holo at the moment, not really used the 3.4 or 4x scopes so far on the M249 but I imagine they'd be great for setting up in cover a good distance from the M-Com or flag and just hosing the enemy down as they run in, this is the only way I've managed to take Pexy down so far Surprising how few people seem to use the LMG's with bipod properly i.e. in prone or with it resting on an object - so accurate

Sure I like the servers you can get, aside from being pointlessly banned or kicked (for killing clan members) it is a nice feature, but the weapons and the hit reg is terrible, it is like learning to play again...

Not had any interest in the game for a while. However last night I chucked it on and had an epic game of cq on Metro. It went on for 1hr 15mins and has really got me back into the game.

I hear talk of a PH server, Whats this and how do I find it. Which game modes are you running on it etc?

That was my initial reaction, but it's still a great game, once you've learnt how to play it again and adapted you're playing style. It took me a few hours of playing to get the hang of it again and I'm now back to positive KDRs and increasing points per minute.

Try using different weapons and set ups, I've completely abandoned my pre-patch ones (KH2002, AS VAL, M27 IAR, M320) as they're nowhere near as effective now. Similarly it seems that flash suppressor + foregrip or heavy barrell are the only weapon attachments to have now and burst fire is pretty useless unless you've deployed a bipod.

Mulitplayer->Server Browser->Search->type in Pistonheads

You can then add it to your favourites. It runs mainly conquest and the odd Rush game on softcore.

Pexy absolutely carried me all the way to a gun unlock and a rank promotion last night on Nose hair. Think this was around 6:30pm. He was in the little bird for the whole game and I litterally sat in the back of it doing the odd patch up with the engineer blow torch. We did get killed once by a point blank RPG though.

Tbh Pexy didnt even really need me, the little bird only ever got down to around 60% health and that was only a handful of times. The other team really didnt seem all that bothered about trying to take him out (which would have made my presence alot more worth while). They got absolutely hammered as well (like 400 - 0) and we had 2 little birds pummeling their base for much of the game.

The one time I did spend some time on the ground, I tried to repair the hangingjudges IFV or whatever and got mowed by a T90. Always get killed trying to repair people. Also the M4 is rubbish... the PP2000 is much better! even if its got a 21 round mag and runs out before you start firing. Its still better.
