Yep, they "run out" after a while and also disappear if you drop a couple more, the first one you dropped will go.

Not anymore buddy, after the patch they now stay there the whole round unless you chuck one elsewhere or shoot it, they now blow up!!

I'm still in love with the M60 it's a beast of a gun!! joined the PH server last night when I finished work and had a great round with it. I used to use just the Holo (square one not the round) but have started using the US 3.4x sight(m124?). I try to burt my fire on LMG's to about 5-6 round bursts seems to work for me.

Also quite like the m240 seems to have a great rate of fire, just got the type 88 tags for 500kills but don't think I will use it again. MG36 is a great gun too.

That was my initial reaction, but it's still a great game, once you've learnt how to play it again and adapted you're playing style. It took me a few hours of playing to get the hang of it again and I'm now back to positive KDRs and increasing points per minute.

Try using different weapons and set ups, I've completely abandoned my pre-patch ones (KH2002, AS VAL, M27 IAR, M320) as they're nowhere near as effective now. Similarly it seems that flash suppressor + foregrip or heavy barrell are the only weapon attachments to have now and burst fire is pretty useless unless you've deployed a bipod.

You don't use the AS val anymore, IMO I thought it was better now, expecially with the ext mags.

Pexy absolutely carried me all the way to a gun unlock and a rank promotion last night on Nose hair. Think this was around 6:30pm. He was in the little bird for the whole game and I litterally sat in the back of it doing the odd patch up with the engineer blow torch. We did get killed once by a point blank RPG though.

Tbh Pexy didnt even really need me, the little bird only ever got down to around 60% health and that was only a handful of times. The other team really didnt seem all that bothered about trying to take him out (which would have made my presence alot more worth while). They got absolutely hammered as well (like 400 - 0) and we had 2 little birds pummeling their base for much of the game.

The one time I did spend some time on the ground, I tried to repair the hangingjudges IFV or whatever and got mowed by a T90. Always get killed trying to repair people. Also the M4 is rubbish... the PP2000 is much better! even if its got a 21 round mag and runs out before you start firing. Its still better.

Thanks for the repairing!! Just started using the pp2000 again to get the tags for it, I'm using ext mags and holo seems pretty good, maybe not quite as good as the MP7 but I'm liking it so far

It's odd how people get on differently with the weapons since the patch- the KH2002 was a favourite of mine before the patch, but I'm now finding it even better! Likewise the M27 IAR I still absolutely love.

Also, as someone who pretty much NEVER 'hip-fires' and get most of my kills while ADS at midium ranges, I've found that ditching the foregrip on most of my weapons (and sticking with either the heavy barrel or flash supressor) has helped no end. My ratio of headshots to kills has almost doubled since I took the foregrip off of most of my guns!

Must still be differences between platforms? (I'm PC btw).

Only played a few hours on PS3 so far and finding the controls a little hard to get use to.
It is seemingly harder to level up than on Xbox (maybe just me) and my fingers on Xbox never quite let me shoot from the hip as I always scoped in but on ps3 I am finding it much easier.
Just need some better guns.

Just had a good game there on siene crossing, no camp spawn killing just lots of running killing and shooting and rolling over dead.
It's getting hard work been on both PH servers.
Who would I donate some points too for both servers ( xbox and ps3 ) as I keep going on both rather than other servers?

So I see comments about the weapons once again being nerfed etc. I've had maybe two months away from the game and just started playing again. So what's the ratings on things like the G36C, M4, Sniper rifles etc.

I must admit I'm just accepting the glitches and crap and getting on with it now.

had a great tdm on karkand yesterday won 500-493 after 55 minutes its intense and we were giving it some on seine but got kicked at about 250 each - the game just folded for some reason....

the hit reg was glithcy yesterday evening but otherwise it hasn't been "that" bad of late....

hope to get some bank hol gaming in!

got it twice, straight away

one question for the collective..... obviously as soon as i get it, the extended mag is a must but i did try the silencer and seems to suffer alot on 1v1 due to the power reduction. what are people liking as attachments?

The suppressor doesn't affect the level of damage inflicted, post-patch - does it?

I thought it now just increased bullet drop and decreased range?
