If you can find a friendly pilot, it's actually easier to spot snipers from the gunners seat (you could even equip thermo optics to make it a piece of cake). That way it would be quicker and you wouldn't kill a helicopter in the process.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about losing a helicopter over it though.

I'm forever getting called a c4 noob, or c4 pussy etc. I find it funny that they hate it so much, particularly as these are the skill less dicks who sit in a tank (or mobile AA ) all round.

My particular fave is jihad jeeping the mobile AA we who sits backs in his spawn/off map. I know I'll only get one crack at it as i will suicide but it's worth it for the screams of baseraper etc.

FYI I don't agree with baseraping per se, but those knobs deserve it lol

I just hid until we lost a base, then sent out the thing into the rear of the attacking enemy. Bounced it all over the shop and nearly got three kills out of it but they noticed me.... In fact, the guy I actually killed jumped in the air and tried to knife me, as he landed on the "repair tool" he died and I got the MTAR!!!!

But I soooooo need a faster internet connection, so much lag and I so rarely win a face to face fight.

I attacked vehicles with it. Took about 2 nights I think, then I finally happened on a n00b who didn't realise what was going on. Vehicle Destroyed + Enemy Killed. Bugger chasing around people with it!

Why would you attack an enemy base with a mobile AA? Surely it's more of a defensive vehicle? Bit like attacking with a rocket truck. Special.

Just had the most hilarious exchange with a complete noob on my squad. I was in the jet and doing rather well, took down a few enemies, then he comes on in the other jet, and crashes into me killing us both. Then he goes on about how I crashed into him and am apparently st at the game, blah blah blah, if I was in Detroit he'd get his various acquaintances of African American origin to come and shoot me etc, then asks where I'm from. When I reply Scotland, he comes out with "fk that, I've seen Braveheart, know how you fkers fight" then rage quit. Sent a PSN message: "FFFFRRREEEEEEDDDDOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!"

I think you misunderstood me. Its the AA operator who sits back in the bit of the map near his own spawn that you cant attack...his 'safe zone'. I like to send a jihad jeep in after him

Did this last night on Death Valley. Was outstandingly good fun.

This is excellent advice. Chopper not even necessary. Just wait till the inevitable sniper camps up high and then get your sneak on.

I do hide in the base at times, not really sure what's wrong with it?

Sure it's harder the get killed but you miss out on some of the kills. Fair cop I'd say.

Your Ram kill is also fair cop by me, but 'knob' is a bit harsh IMO. Both are valid tactic's

I'm far from a camper, I'm usually a run/gun kinda guy but on occasion I'm in the mood to sneak about.

Obviously the 'knob' isn't fired at the likes of you Graham, sheesh even I've found myself coming out of base and stopping to bring down some helis. It was aimed more at the lvl 100 Colonels who hog the AA for a whole round sitting in an area they know they cant be attacked in. You can normally find them standing in the uncap right where the AA spawns (Apache wes do the same) when they are needed out in the field.

Anyway, the AK Gunship is the new mobile AA. Had a Russian (and yes I will call him a knob) lvl 100 at the weekend and he wouldn't spawn until he could get into the gunship, and then he would switch teams at the end of the round so he could do it again the next round. When he switched teams for the 3rd time, despite being on the winning team I quit the game as he was boiling my piss. I wonder just how he managed to get to lvl 100. Oh, actually I think I do.....
