Oh no, not those.. I've already muted a few of them. But I remember back in the BF2 days, people would work as a team, fighting together to keep certain flags and letting others know where the enemy was coming from.
How can you mute? When I click on the person with the Mute Button they still talk, so I have to leave the squad..
Well you see, I done the same.. Mute, he still talked. In the end I turned off the chat, but assumed it was just my connection..

Good job it's not just me.

Mute never, ever, ever works for me. Ever. I generally just leave the squad or plug in the headset so I can't hear.

Don't go there.

The worst thing is when you're on a losing team, you keep trying but people just back out leaving you no chance.. People connect to the game, see you're getting a hammering and leave again.

Had some brilliant games a few days ago, we were 200tks down on the other team in a 1000tks TDM.. We somehow came back and won with about 50tks left in it, was excellent. Doesn't happen often though frown

No one seems to work as a team either, if I'm in a squad and I see I've already got a medic or support on my team I'll go as engineer or something, so we spread the specialities.

Then, the worst bit! Choppers/Tanks! It's not difficult, as soon as a tank/chopper rolls into down, swap to RPGs and take it out, don't let it sit there fking us up! mad

I think some games you just have to forget about winning and try for a good score and play selfish.
Snipers who sit miles away taking potshots and maybe killing two people all game are my current annoyance, just stick a soflam somewhere at least!!

I'm pretty consistently in the MVP1-3 in conquest and I manage that by ruthlessly playing the objective. Unless your team is utterly honorific it can be possible to essentially win the game yourself!

But where's the fun in that? Working together as a team is satisfying but jumping from cap to cap racking up points and winning but not actually killing that many people gets a bit boring.

If you can get a couple of guys together in a squad it is fantastic. Plus there are so many ways to kill people and amuse yourself doing it (my favorite at one stage was to see how many vehicles I can C4 - this included by flying over them and dropping C4 as I parachute down)..... Of course, you may die more often (as you will if you play the objective in a c**p team).

Whilst there are games (many, many games) where your team will be s**e and you will die a lot because of them (driving/flying out of bounds seems to be the new hobby and pasttime of my team mates) there will also be games like I had this morning where 7-8 of the team will play the objective. This means that when the Mcom is armed your team swarm over it like a plague, killing the enemy and disarming. So you win.

If you have a Mic and a few friends, this game can just be incredible.

I find the way I get caught out is when in the front seat of a chopper flying low and the pilot bales out without telling you. There are some tards on this game.

However, as has been said it is great when you get a good squad together and talk to each other, spot and combine all the types of player. This is the genius of the game but it isn't used half as much as it should.

This.
Probably the single best reason for playing it when you're on your todd. I love finding new ways of killing people. My favourite trick for awhile was C4'ing my jet, waiting till another jet is hitting me with guns then bail out. As they continue onwards/towards the jet I'd blow the C4.

Died many more times than I got kills but that's not the point - the uncontrollable (and slightly manic) laughter when it worked was the point.

I C4'd the back of a building at C on kharg conquest last night, shot two dude and someone else nicked me with a couple of bullets, turned round hit him but he ran off round the back of the building. A La James Bond got the c4 clicker and boom, aren't many other games which will give you that smile.

Also some snipers in a construction site, went and knifed them, then put some c4 on the spawn beacon, (no actual plan to kill anyone) any how ran away a bit and clicked the c4 triple kill. sometimes its a shame you can't always share these moments!!

I'm in, but tend to be on a bit late for most people I think - most nights from 10:30 till just past 12. GT is Rooster0000.

I really enjoy this style of play. Happy to team up and work as a squad but more often than not it's not going to happen.

The game is definitely at its best with a few mates in a squad. I wouldn't argue with that.

Yep, this morning I C4d the enemy tank, as I did that the Amtrak pulled up alongside too, so I detonated, two destroyed vehicles and I think 4-5 kills... Such fun.

Along with standing on a roof top and dropping C4 over, taking out people and vehicles.

I am also rather fond of just running people over, be it in the tank or buggy.... I die a lot just chasing them down, deathrace 2000 style as well......

I also love taking a minor vehicle (say Humvee) and putting C4 on then driving to the enemy base and letting them "steal" it. Wait until enough enemy are using it, then detonate.......

They will lock on to ground vehicles without assistance, but if they are laser painted by a soflam or citv in tank or the co=pilot seat in the heli(press triangle ps3) youwill get a damage bonus and the can lock onto aircraft with the painter.

Have you been drinking Pexy? wink

All heat seaking missiles lock on automatically to enemy aircraft that have a pilot/gunner in them. No soflaming required, just aim at the aircraft for a few seconds.

My latest trick isn't that imaginative but involves jumping off the cliff on Damavand Peak rush and dropping my load of C4 in a pattern around and over the central building below. Usually get a kill or two that way.

Real fun can also be had by blowing the roof on that building over the MCom, then dropping C4 on to it when it has been charged.......... I sometimes get 3 kills in one with that.

Also on the last base, put C4 on the tank spawn.......... Then wait.

Oh, most entertaining kill on that map is AT mines on the helipad. If someone takes off but then drops back down to collect someone, then it's kaboom..................
