What is the glitch? I constantly get killed by the dart but when I try it I always end up second best 
I think the "glitch" is that any underslung attachment, in combination with the heavy barrel, takes on relative damage per shot to the weapon it's fired from. i.e: Every shot fired from a M26 shotgun/dart equates to the damage per shot of the gun itself, rather than the attachment. So assuming the G3 does 34 damage per shot and you're firing 10 darts per shot = 340 damage with the "glitch" = instant kill.
If that makes sense anyway! Slightly pished here.

lovinging the M26, been using it a lot with the slug, but kept getting mailed by people with the dart, took me ages to work out why as everytime I used it it took loads of shots 3+ sometimes. You have to equip it to the underslung rail and then make sure you have the heavy barrel, seems to be a one shot kill then. Oh and who was the admin as I got killed by you on seine and stuck on the US team for no reason. Wasn't impressed by that, as I was 14-1 and best player for the Russians. No message to explain why.

But in all fairness they do need to patch it, was telling Flank shank and pacmac how over powered it is.
It may have been me who moved you, can;t remember I moved some people on one map because the opposite team had about 11players to our 8. Don't think it puts a death on your score though. Tried to get all the PH together, sorry should have PM'd you.

Have been treated to an ingenious new way for the gaming community to express its selfishness on several occassions on the last couple of days.
I've been trying to unlock the air warfare and helicopter service medals, so have been spending a lot of time helicopter whoring. Nothing underhand, just waiting for the helicopter to appear and jumping in when it does. If two people are already waiting at the helipad, I bugger off and do so sniping for a bit.
Anyway, the treat that I've received no fewer than 3 times in the past couple of days is for someone else who wants the chopper, but gets to the heli pad after me, is to take a jeep, drive it at me and then leap out, resulting in a team kill even on a server where friendly fire doesn't kill.
As if team killing for a vehicle isn't bad enough, these guys have sat and worked out a way to do it even when the server rules are specifically designed not to allow it. How depressing.
BTW: the reason I didn't just jump out of the way on the 3 occassions was because I spend my time at the helipad locking on to aircraft and shooting stingers, rather than trying to work out how to kill my teammates.

All the servers now have entirely random rulesets and it is impossible to just get a bog-standard normal hardcore game these days....

is it me or are stingers absolutely useless?
if the pilots even 1/4 good he knows when to deploy the counter measure to avoid being hit. If they're really good they'll spend a lot of time below the radar height so you can't lock anyway and if you do get a lock, the noob pilot deploys flares, you wait, then shoot 9/10 you don't hit anyway. Its like you have to wait till the flares completely vanish from the air before you can fire and by that time, his flares are reloaded so he can evade you once more.
I've had more luck shooting down heli's with the RPG!!!!
Was just on a big wake game and the hit registering nearly made me break something. 2ft in front of a tank, RPG, point blank. Completely missed. The only way this is possible is if I was pointing at the sky... 80% of my view was the front of a T90, how in gods name do you miss? Also lots of dancing around shooting, using up whole clips only to be shot once during reloading and being killed. Annoying as fk.

Stingers are much better than they were I reckon. The range is shorter but they do a lot more damage. Dueling with a chopper pilot using a stinger is quite fun, though if they're really good you really need two people to take 'em down. k.Don't RPGs and 40mm grenades need space to arm? Sure I read that somewhere...so if you're too close they don't do much damage.

Thought post patch they were a lot better as the reload time now seems faster than the flare reload. k.Ive been away from the game for a while and only just downloaded the huge 'rent a server' patch. The game is now unplayable online due to lag! did anyone else find that?
I never had lag before (100mb virgin media) but now I cant find any servers which I can play on....
Did manage to find a pistonheads one though
so will give it a go when the issue is fixed. All other games work fine so it must be the game.
Annoying because there are now ultra long games to get stuck into
