Just finished the single player as well
I loved the first game so was a little concerned that they could pull off the same great feel for the second - I needn't have worried
Certainly one of the best games I have played in recent memory, perhaps ever. Great script, great story, nice progression to the puzzles, lovely cinematography (for want of a better word), thought the music worked especially well - superb overall experience.
If I had to pick a negative it would be that i'm so used to Stephen Merchant's voice that it was hard to just imagine the character - but to be honest it didn't really detract from the game.
I would certainly recommend it - people who don't like first-person-shooters shouldn't overlook Portal 2, its more puzzle 'n' comedy.
As close to perfect as I've seen a game tread in a very long while...

Me and my mate got this on Thursday. He completed the story yesterday whareas I'm on Chapter 6.
I have to agree with everyone else, its a really good game and the comedy aspect of it is really good.
Co-op is brilliant! Me and my mate are just working through the Co-op achievements at the moment!
I find the graphics are a lot better than Portal 1 and IMO its a bit easier, ( I haven't completed it yet though, so that may change.)
If you are thinking about getting this game. Please do, you won't regret it.

from somebody who didnt get the hype of this game about a week ago, im now a huge fan of this game, as the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover. and that goes perfectly for this game

Can you talk to each other when playing co-op?
Yes. I talk to my mate through the head-set. There are other ways but I find that easiest.Just finished it, fantastic.
Although I didn't enjoy it as much as Portal1; I think it's because the first was such a suprise in its originality and execution, that the second was never going to have that.
Still, well worth it, just need my mate to pull his finger out and get it now.

Played through the first 30 mins earlier - fantastic. It's essentially the first game, but with more soul, more voicing, and a better setting. Love it!
That's why I don't think I'll bother getting it.The same thing happened in Left 4 Dead and L4D II. More of the same <<yawn>>grimfandango said:

I came home on Saturday night from a heavy barbecue party and simply could not fathom one level. The next afternoon, the solution was almost immediately obvious.
