I like that as its different. But think the extreme shallow Dof is too distracting on the right hand side to be honest (f2.8 @ 62mm). Would work better if all the golden leaf was in focus TBH. Or poss better still the smaller leaf on the left hand side?Just my 2p.
Morning all,
Haven't had much of a chance to keep up to date with forums, starting to trawl back through various pages now. A few updates from me incase anyone is interested...
Last month we had the pleasure of visiting Keukenhof, and despite the wet weather we still had a great time.

The above image was shot with the fantastic 100L, absolutely love this lens! At the same there was a Bird of Prey show and I got a chance to shoot some of the magnificent creatures on display:

I've written a full blog post about our trip, with lots more images here: http://blog.richardpardon.co.uk/?p=2049
Lastly, and probably more on topic for this forum I had the pleasure of shooting a truly unique creation. One of a kind, Evanta Motor Company's Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato. They've taken a DB7 Donor car and made the DB4 Zagato one-piece shell out of carbon/kevlar. The V12 is somehow shoehorned under the bonnet with its tiptronic gearbox. Absolutely outstanding car, a pleasure to shoot both on location and in the studio...

This was one of the more creative shots created in the studio, light painting with the daylight balanced led modelling lamp in the Quadra.

Again, i've written two blog posts about this car (lots of information/detail) as well as numerous images.

Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did shooting it!

I took this at Bradgate Park, in Leicestershire, early in the morning, a few years ago. One of my best - the others aren't as great.
