Is this not the place for criticism or is there some history I don't know about?
Don't worry, it's probably just a case of camera bags at dawn....

Mail sent but PH sometimes takes some time.

If you get '404 not found' from the link, I'm guessing I'm right and that my file cannot be downloaded (even though it's there)

Some great photos in this thread. I hope I can learn to shoot as well as you guys! I'm just starting out having purchased my first DSLR before I went to Australia last month.

Here a a few of my favourite shots from that trip (there are more in my Flickr photostream). I am just starting out so any comments are appreciated.

Great photos smile I absolutely love night photography... It is my favourite subject!

Quick questions:

What camera and lens combo did you use to shoot these? Edit: Doh, just looked at the EXIF! I see its a Nikon D5100 and kit lens!

Did you use any HDR and a bit of sharpening in processing to get these looking this way, especially the bike one?

Thanks smile

I had to go for a 3D CT scan of my eyes today. Being the curious guy I am, I was shown the equipment they use. It was this huge white box of lenses and lasers that cost £60k. Screwed in to the top of this machine, like you would screw a lens, was just a Nikon DSLR hehe

Thanks for the comments. Yes, as the EXIF data shows all were shot on my D5100 and the 18-55mm kit lens. No HDR, just a little bit of adjustment in Lightroom.
