Here in Delft, the council have become so annoyed with the 2 trillion badly parked bike around the station that they have started labelling the worst offenders and, if they are still there a day or two later, removing them.

In a few weeks, this year's freshers will all arrive and the number of rusty, 25 year old, squeak-monsters scattered about the town will triple.

They are usually locked with locks worth more than the bicycle but I'd be lying if I said I'd never woken up at home to realise I'd cycled home on the wrong one when drunk smile
