All of those sound like they'll be very busy 24 hrs a day - certainly I wouldn't stop outside some of them for fear of causing an accident. Most of them are on clearways also.

What car is it, and what sort of pics are you after? I quite like the old Hoover building on the A40, and there's always the Ace. Or tunnels (Tooley St).

I keep driving past the Hoover building and keep thinking it would be a great backdrop (esp at night) but I don't think there is easy vehicular access without barriers etc. Might be wrong as I have never stopped to check smile

forget harrods at the moment - hans crescent is choc-a-block, brompton road is a red route and hans road is hoarded off

you can't get near the london eye with a car as it's pedestrianised

the troc is on a red route too

sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Yes but I don't think you can get near the front of it ?

The Lloyds building would be no problem...you can also park infront of St Paul's or pretty close enough I think.

I saw the Tesco sign but always assumed it was offices rather than an actual shop. Lol. In which case people are less likely to wonder why I am snooping around in the dark with my camera if I ever do decide to stop smile

Yes, maps.google.com.

Type in each location in your list and hit search.

When the map appears, you can use the zoom buttons to zoom in and out.

Round the back of Battersea Power Station? You could probably position the car better than I did.

Chelsea Bridge is a possibility at night as well.

In front of Tate Britain on Millbank?

Thought that this was a cool location too, I have been trying to find it, anyone any ideas? Looking at the view it must be around the vicinity of the O2.

Strobist and layer blending. I am working on a walkthrough at the moment. Will post a link when I am done.
