And another, on the house reef, with a couple of small black tip reef sharks making an appearance.

Here is the first video I've made, so apologies for the average craftmanship compared to you pros. It was filmed from my TVR Chimaera using a GoPro Hero2 and was edited using iMovie on the iPad. The venue was a hoon from Hedge End to Goodwood for the Sunday Service with a few South Coasters.

Like the camera angle, but with a TVR you surely need to look at external mics to get the exhaust note smile

Finally sorting out some video from last summers trip round Ireland. I possibly put too long an intro on it though

Thats my next experiment. I've got an extension lead for the external mic, just need to have a play and see where is best to position it for best sound, ie best exhaust note with least wind noise. I'm thinking of just above the number plate, under the lip of the boot for my first test run. Anywhere at the back of a TVR is best for sound, its just how to loose the wind noise. Any suggestions?
I tried to watch your video on the iPad, but it wouldn't play it, so I'll watch it tomorrow when i'm on the PC. Thanks for your comments, I need as much input as I can get as not too good with modern technology. Just sussed out how to work a calculator, next is sussing out how to record on the betamax top loading video. wink

This is my first go at a time lapse with my GoPro, images were at 1s intervals and processed in Lightroom/GoPro CineForm Studio.

It took a while to create (and to upload from here in Papua!) but here's what I hope will be the first of many videos flying in the mountains of West Papua, Indonesia shot entirely with a single GoPro HD camera:

Pilatus PC-6 Bush Flying in the mountains around Timika, Papua

Currently gathering footage from lots more airstrips out here whilst flying in the supplies and people so hope to have another movie out in the next few months smile

Wow, stunning scenery, what a fantastic job.

Is that as standard cockpit layout? Looks like you have to be left handed to fly the left seat and right handed in the right one.

my first ever play with a GoPro, and just picked up Sony Vegas Pro 11 as well.
dont really know what im doing, and having finished the first cut, then realised i'd inadvertently deleted a good chunk of the vid somehow.. got a bit fed up and just threw it together so there's a lack of nice transitions etc.

nothing exciting, just out for a drive.. smile

Thanks! Yup, that's how pretty much all fixed wing aircraft are flown, you sit in the left seat with your left hand on the stick/yoke and right hand for power levers. I'm right handed but it's not hard to get used to it smile

Anyway, here's part two of my flying adventures the Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter around the mountains of Papua, Indonesia:

Another cracking vid Moose, some of those mountaintop airstrips look a little scary.

I've only flown gliders and a few rides a chipmonk, all with the stick in the right hand, left handed just looks weird biggrin
