We had my sister and her family down to stay with us recently, and the kids wanted to go for a spin in the Lotus. I thought it would be fun to film their reactions - they seemed to enjoy themselves, maybe a couple of little petrolheads in the making there: http://youtu.be/OhJuVpCkZa0

Watching a few of these video's I definitely need to start playing with more camera angles. Here's some of my efforts, probably best watched at 720p... Comparison of video modes on my GoPro Motorsport HD after I found some 1080p video was a bit choppy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8eejQYWZHUI've settled on using R2 (1280x720 @ 25fps) as the best picture quality without overdoing it on file size Reason I bought the camera was for a bike trip through France, Italy, Austria and Germany, I came back with over 40GB of video and that was at the lower data rate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENIHFegA5NM (sorry, 14 mins long) Day trip in the lake district, filmed at 1080p and the video is quite bouncy, not sure if it's to do with the camera angle or if the class 4 card struggles a bit at the higher data rate, but for what I'm using the camera for (youtube memories of a good trip) I've decided to stick to 720p http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQxAuPu0y1sDidn't take anywhere near as much footage last weekend as I should have done, but I've had a go at synching it to the music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LkBRDHPTTYAnd finally if you've never been, you really need to go to Germany, rumour has it they're thinking of closing this road as too many bikers use it like a race track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48q01uj31NM

Recently picked up a GoPro and had to do a run up to Thirsk on Friday, so stuck the camera in the car and set it shooting at 1 frame every 5 seconds.. Threw it at Windows Live Movie Maker (in the absence of any other processing software or horsepower in the laptop!) and came up with this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EBqdcow7bU&hd=...It's only 3:40 long, and you get to listen to Awolnation's marvellous track "Sail" (which seems to be being used on a lot of videos right now, so sorry for the lack of originality)

Nothing artisitic here but I was hoping to catch how empty the streets of London are at 5.20 on a Sunday Morning as I travelled up to do a photo shoot, what the video actually shows is the streets of London are never empty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedd...

In case your wondering why I went passed the redezvous at Millbank, went over Westminster Bridge and then back again, it was because: 1. I was early 2. That's where I wanted to get the first shots so I wanted to see if anyone was around. That golden light on Parliament and the lack of people around were the whole point of getting up at that time We only once had our collars felt and that was trying to shoot at Horseguards Parade, which is, as we were told by a slighty grumpy cop with a machine gun, all owned by the Royal Parks and not public land. We moved on quickly.

This is a bunch of mates and I snowboarding last year, please note the average age of the people in this video is 46 and I am 51  My less than inspired boarding is down to the fact that I had and still have a very duff knee. Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking too it. Had a go whilst diving in the Red Sea - used the Goforfocus to correct the blur however it has left a terrible yellow stain on the go-pro. Anyone else heard of this? Also any tips for super slow mo? I tried with the bubbles at one point but it looks pretty naff! https://vimeo.com/43069132PS - Sorry for the choice of music, I thought it was law that the first video with a Gopro must be that track
