Driving down a road towards Jasper in Canada we saw this fella, forgive the pic quality the car was still moving.

Then on the way back we used a old road and found traffic, of 5 cars unusual for the road.

But here is why the cars were stopped.

Big fella looking for food.

Awesome. I'm sure seeing bears is great too but I've dreamt of seeing wild wolves since I was little, maybe one day I'll actually go on holiday somewhere there's a chance of seeing some.

There were 3 in total but that fella was the only one to stop and allow me to take a picture, speaking to a few Canadians about it they have never seen one either, but in Alberta they say there are only 50 total in all the national parks.

It was a magical moment.

Here are the other 2 photo's I managed to get.

I was treated to this leaping fox this morning, wasn't the Kingfisher that I was after, but never mind!

Great shot! Was it trying to clear the gap or was it after something?

If it was trying to clear it then I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that he failed!

Thanks. It was clearing the gap, I have a sequence of six shots, the last being just the tail as it landed.

As many know, we have a pair of 'resident' Pine Martens. Yesterday, another pair turned up for a custard cream fest. There may be trouble ahead!

+1 Fabulous capture!

Some from yesterday. I stupidly forgot to reset the ISO after practising some night photography the evening before, so they're at 800 ISO except for the fungus pic which was taken with my compact camera rolleyes

On Fan of this thread, that fox, wow!
I've not got any great shots myself, but did come across this huge grape (almost nature related)

HAd a day out at Cotswold Farm Park on Friday, lovely place to visit with kids. Most of my photos were just typical family day out stuff but I did grab this one that I liked.
