Wimped out of Minsmere due to dodgy weather, so went to my local RSPB reserve instead. Was treated to 15 minutes of this little chap hunting infront of me.Not much later than 7am, so my poor 5D3 was pushed to it's limit, especially as I was limited to f4.

Lovely, I'd love to see an otter in the wild.

I'm only really just getting into this photography lark. Got an EOS 1100d and a couple of lenses: Canon 50mm 1.8 EF, the 18-55 that came with the camera and the usual Canon 75-300mm that everyone gets as a budget 'long' lens. I've also just got a Sigma 50-500mm on hire / try before I buy that i'm blown away by. It may be heavy but it does everything I need it to. A few of my November pics taken through my various lenses: The wife has me loaded onto a photography workshop in 2 weeks so hopefully i'll pick up some tips there.
