Thanks for posting these chaps. Some real gems I've had 'the week from hell' but that have cheered me up  BrightYellowTVR, your last pic is an example of what I like to capture. Jez O, I also like to capture fields & sometimes just the crops. daveake, I've read your blog (from the raspberry pii thread) - it's amazing & great shots too. Thanks again chaps - I wish I had the talent to compose shots like these.

Hi all, 2 moon shots from earlier. taken with a 5DMkII. the lens is a 100-400 with a 1.4X extender. These were hand held, I was quite pleased with the results. Im still waiting for a wireless remote for the camera.   Here's a full moon too from the other day, also taken hand held.

And here's one that shows there actually is colour on the moon, if you do a bit of judicious processing to bring it out.
