Next lens, next accessory, next gadget, next bit of software? Anything, really.

I've gone all googly-eyed over Canon's 200mm f/2.8 prime. (Yeah, I'd really like the f/2.0. I'd also like a pony and world peace)

Funny; I'm too eyeing up the 200 2.8. Either that, or the Canon 10-22.
I can vouch for the 10-22 as long as you're cool with it being EF-S. I love mine.

Aside from getting my 70-300 back from repair, I can see me getting a D400 when it is released, will keep the D90 as a 2nd body

I have just ordered a 17-40 for my 5DII. I already have a 24-70, but fancied something that would allow me to go a bit wider when needed.

Next on the shopping list will be a 5DIII, but I think that's a little way off for the moment.

I just got an FL-600R flash for my E-M5. I've always been a massive sceptic when it came to flash, preferring available light. But, like many, this was probably more to do with not knowing anything about flash photography. Some reading and YouTubing later and I am ready to give it a try. I even bought a Pot Noodle ready to fashion my own Gary Fong style diffuser.

Any tips from seasoned flashers would be appreciated.

Have recently bought some PocketWizards (loving that I can now use high speed synch off camera to effectively boost up my speedlights power relative to ambient daylight) and my next piece of kit is either going to be the Canon 35mm f/1.4 L or a Lowel id-light with the Damien Lovegrove battery pack.

I've been thinking about getting a 30mm ish prime as the 50mm 1.8 is a bit tight on the crop of the 7d.

my current shopping list is as follows;

Canon EF 100mm f2.8L Macro IS USM
Canon EOS 5D Mark III
Canon EF 14mm f2.8 L II USM

may well have to let the 10-22 go to a new home then...

im debating whether to go Full Frame with the D600 dropping to a more reasonable price now or just stick with the D200 just now and wait for the D400.

Keep eyeing up 17-55 f2.8's on Ebay as well.

I funded it. They will make a second batch to sell as it was massively over-subscribed.

thanks - I see what you mean - just slightly oversubscribed!

there does not seem to be an option to pre-order it now the funding is closed?

No. I don't think there is. But I read that there will be at some stage. If it's as good as it looks it should become a mainstream buy methinks.

I'd be really interested to see the results from this when you get it Steve. Looking at the website, there is a $30 option to fund now, and be in line for the 2nd build in Feb 2013.

Olympus 12mm f2.0 (in the new black edition if money allows) and the Olympus 45mm f1.8.

Just got myself sorted for intervalometer, tripod and bag so I'm all accessoried out at the moment.

Can I ask a favour? If your next is a lens, post a sample shot. If you don't want to, that's cool too.

Two imminent purchases: Firstly a fast prime, probably the Canon 35mm f/1.4 L. I could have done with this a couple of times recently in places where photography is permitted but flash isn't. Secondly a Hahnel Giga T Pro Remote. Also, whilst I don't really need a 5D3, I am tempted smile

My next purchase could well be a 6D, but not for at least 6 months yet. My lens collection has been pretty stable for the last 4 years (17-40f4, 50f1.4 and 70-200f2.8) the only lens I could see myself adding is a macro lens.

Astro timelapse gadget looks great.

My next lens will be a Nikon 14mm f/2.8 followed by something at the other end- 300mm f/4, possibly. Before either of those happen, I'll be picking up the suction & clamping accessories for my rig. Finally.
