How about this for a professioanl external mic...
MicW iGoMic for GoPro Hero 2, 3 and 3+
Also works with Canon 5D & 7D, Sony Alpha 6 & 7 series and Nikon D7000
Go on then! How much??MicW iGoMic for GoPro Hero 2, 3 and 3+

I bought a lapel mike on 5m lead. Which I've tested and works perfectly when camera mounted at front of car and mike mounted to rear number plate
£15
Tell me yours is cheaper
Also that mount I purchased from you, (pole with suction cups both ends and extends) works perfectly in both car a small plane
Well worth the money if you compare it to single suction cup mounts

I'm seriously pised off with my Hero 3 Black - whatever I do it won't turn on, put a battery in and the rear light flashes red, I've tried various tricks I've read online (hard reset etc etc) but nothing works - there's no way to turn it on.
I don't think I've ever used the camera and it hasn't crashed at least once, I think I've only used it maybe 5 times in total.
Product just wasn't ready for launch
Emailed GoPro on Sunday, still no response - it was one of the first ones in the shops, I'm half expecting them to say 'out of warranty, go away'.

At the risk of stating the obvious (and apologies if it is), but have you flashed it to the latest firmware and also tried different memory cards? I don't think I've ever used the camera and it hasn't crashed at least once, I think I've only used it maybe 5 times in total.
It was updated a while back, I believe which is the latest firmware (hasn't been updated for ages for the Non '+' models).
Tried different cards, tried no cards, tried putting the update files onto the cards to try and reflash the thing - but nothing seems to work.
I've taken the battery in and out loads of times, plugged into wall charger, USB socket, charged batteries separately.
In short, I think it's fked.

As for the mic, it's certainly not cheaper at £149.99!!!
Hi Boro
I have only used it on one car, this being a 997.1
As for the plane I've used it in a PA28-180 and there's scope to use it on a slightly wider bodied aircraft to given the extension length, it's pretty rigid too even at full extension as required in the 997.
I'll try and pop up a couple of short vids if you like

That would be ace, if you could ;-)
Here you go I purchased this off Boro a while back and have used it on a few occasion, not enough really but each time it has produced a very rigid platform from which to mount my gopro3+
This is the most recent footage using the mount on a short trip to lunch with a good friend

I have used it I the car, well, tested it with a cheap mic setup and it worked a treat to but as I was on public roads, speed limits we adhered too so the footage was purely for test purposes only and I'll upload it once I have edited it.

Off on my honeymoon in October there could be some skydiving and definitely diving, so I'm thinking of one of those velco arm bands that I see on Ebay for the skydiving (thoughts) and what's the recommendation for diving? Floaty back door type thing or one of the bobber type handle stuff?
