With regard to the original question, it's not that there's a dearth of car pics (as this thread has shown), but that there's a wealth of ALL pics.

Same reason why the Computer Games forum isn't just full of racing game threads (although Forza gave it a shot ), and the Gadgets forum isn't all about in-car stuff. We're a broad church here on PH, just so happens that the common interest is motors.
