Why are there so few car photographs?

Curborough 50th Anniversary.
The Lotus 15 was built with a Coventry Climax 4-cylinder motor in 1958 and was raced by Cliff Allison, Graham Hill and David Piper before Addicott acquired it as a rolling chassis in 1961. He then installed a 3.5l Buick V8 engine
