No that's what I meant. Sodium lighting gives that effect, cameras struggle to find the right white balance in those conditions.
I've had a play in PS touch and as soon as I rid it of the yellow glow, it's just looks monochrome.

Meh!

Are there any good sites or videos giving tutorials on how to retouch car photos?

Looks good Chris, think it would have been nice to highlight the M badge more though?
Thanks, I agree, a little more light on it would help. Just starting to play with light painting the car more. How did you achieve the shot below? Its a great image!

I used an LED torch and just kept doing it until I was happy with where the highlight went. Think it took me about 30 attempts, it wasn't the easiest bit of carbon to light well!

What I mean is are there any good tutorials on YouTube that show you how to retouch a photo.

I would highly recommend Phlearn as a retouching youtube channel. Spend a few days watching his techniques, learn all the shortcut keys he uses ( he has a special video just for that and I am so glad I spent the time to learn it as it speeded up my workflow 10fold ) , and you will be a long way down the road.

Is that a #bloodycyclist in the background, spoiling an otherwise excellent shot?

Just completed this edit. Feel like it's missing something. How can I make it better?

Try different crop to start with? Cut more out from the top so there's no window visible, leave more on the right so the porch is not cropped and get rid of the rubbish behind the car?

That simple! I have been looking at diffusing the light from the torch or using a bigger softer light like a torch through a softbox. I imagine carbon is pretty hard to light paint, a nice metallic paint picks up the light no problem though!

Okay. Is the clarity too much or is it okay how it is?
