Took the Speedster up to London yesterday. Didn't exactly go to plan when I got a flat tyre on Regents street, but here's a little shot from the trip out anyway!

Nice, how did you get the traffic-free shot? Combining exposures or just got there early?

Must be the same one I posted on the previous page from Silverstone classic. I didn't get to see it running though, must have sounded pretty sweet! cloud9 Enjoyed looking through the set on flickr thumbup

I'd guess the Photoshop feature that takes the most common pixels from a host of frames - the name escapes me at the moment. I've used it for tourist attractions before. Someone even used it to show what major cities would look like without people.

This has massive potential, but I think with the bike so bright the viewer expects the background to be brighter too. I'd tone down the bike a bit smile

That's interesting to hear. I thought the bike standing out from the background would be the idea tbh, maybe not quite so much.

I believe it was! Cheers, was a challenging day getting soaked/sunburnt and trying to get the best out of my new lens (70-300L).

I'd personally tone down the bike a bit too if it was me lighting, however from what I've seen I think its a bit of Phil's signature style to make the highlights on the subject vividly bright relative to the background so it goes with your previous work.

I did try photoshopping some volumetric light on there to suggest a bright light source aimed at the bike. But it didn't look good enough to go with
