Why are there so few car photographs?

I've been clearing a HDD and came across these photographs of a TVR Griffith 400 in racing trim: roll cage the lot.

They are a bit chocolate box but the idea was a counterpoint to the racing side.

I'm rather pleased the the 100 or so that I took.

One thing I could not reproduce in a photograph was just how heavy the clutch was.

Mock me if you like but I really had a thing for the Vectra GSi a few years ago.....
