Last Saturday batch coming back down the hill?If so, I was sat in the grandstand just behind you. I was so glad we didn't rush away after the commentators said that the last batch was cancelled. Some real gems in it too, especially that 'Silver Arrows' foursome.
I didn't get to see much of the hill climb runs, as we spend a lot of time up on the rally stage and the top paddock areas. Great day, though!
I much prefer to see non-racing shots in here on the basis that I think they represent a special sort of photographic creativity offering the photographer an opportunity to demonstrate their mastery of the conditions and subject matter they are working with.
Then, sometimes, motorsport offers something that seems to have an appeal to art either through the general composition available or colour delivery or perhaps both.
I think this one just about sneaks in on the colour interest basis and the light that was available for a few minutes. I just happened to be there at the time.
As crushed by the internet ....

Got a few cool shots of a Bentley Continental GT3-R while my brother was washing the road grime off it in preparation for going on display at Alford Speedfest yesterday...
