Probably shot in England DD.

The others not and of course you are comparing to Scottish skies - unfair in the context.

wink

Have to agree with your first line. That said .... should we not expect that from GFW?

It is perhaps unfair but those who set standards will always be challenged to maintain them by those of us (me in this case) who regularly fail to get close.

'scuse the FB compression, not hosted anywhere else. Had the joy of an F-Type Coupe R to play with a few weeks back, so took advantage of some cracking natural light that coincided with my time at the wheel....

Very nice - now how is that front nearside wheel so nicely lit when you are shooting directly into the sun?! This is HDR yes? I have only tried it on the phone, but if you get that much latitude I need to step up with the 5D!
Thanks! No HDR. If you follow the line of the shadow, you'll see the viewable side of the car was in shadow, hence the consistency of light - that, and using a few tricks with filters & tagging the lense to block out spill. The latency comes from a graduated filter.

First image from the Vengeance set was leaked yesterday by the guy building the car of the interior:

Thanks guys. Actually ended up doing three or four sets of different edits to give the press a choice, so lots of work! Few more from the set:

Pretty bloody good work. At the risk of being pedantic (well, the work is at a level which deserves it) you should rotate the centrecap on the front wheel, and the lightpainted line halfway along the door leading to the door handle REALLY needs to be straightened out, it's nearly the first thing I spotted. But, jolly good work otherwise.

Thanks mate, means a lot coming from someone such as you. I had a feeling the centre-cap would be picked up, one of those things I noticed after the images went out and then hoped nobody else would spot it. biggrin No excuse for that one I'm afraid!

The lightpaint line though is from the lines of the bodywork, the car has front/rear haunches like the older Vanquish (big bulbous arches - you can see the way the light dips up and back down, that pool of light near the front wheel is actually the arch). I think if I were to re-visit these in future I'd probably draw these in manually in post to emphasis their shape.

Was it a DB7? Really isn't an attractive motor at all is it, I predict it bombing

Lovely set Graham! Looks much better in your pics than at the show - probably down to the hard lighting at the hall!
