Why are there so few car photographs?

Nice work George
(sky looks a bit wonky in the last one? maybe just my screen)
Probably shot in England DD.(sky looks a bit wonky in the last one? maybe just my screen)
The others not and of course you are comparing to Scottish skies - unfair in the context.
Have to agree with your first line. That said .... should we not expect that from GFW?
It is perhaps unfair but those who set standards will always be challenged to maintain them by those of us (me in this case) who regularly fail to get close.

Very nice - now how is that front nearside wheel so nicely lit when you are shooting directly into the sun?! This is HDR yes? I have only tried it on the phone, but if you get that much latitude I need to step up with the 5D! DSC_0351 by ShortFalls, on Flickr

Pretty bloody good work. At the risk of being pedantic (well, the work is at a level which deserves it) you should rotate the centrecap on the front wheel, and the lightpainted line halfway along the door leading to the door handle REALLY needs to be straightened out, it's nearly the first thing I spotted. But, jolly good work otherwise.trackdemon said:

Thanks mate, means a lot coming from someone such as you. I had a feeling the centre-cap would be picked up, one of those things I noticed after the images went out and then hoped nobody else would spot it. No excuse for that one I'm afraid! The lightpaint line though is from the lines of the bodywork, the car has front/rear haunches like the older Vanquish (big bulbous arches - you can see the way the light dips up and back down, that pool of light near the front wheel is actually the arch). I think if I were to re-visit these in future I'd probably draw these in manually in post to emphasis their shape.
