Was invited to Castle Coombe this last weekend to take photos in the paddock. Sadly it was bloody awful weather and most things were under wraps but there were some lovely cars about. The highlight for me were these two. I know the photos aren't great, the Ferrari in particular but I didn't feel right asking for it to be moved so I could get a better shot biggrin That said I probably could have asked the people to shift! It spend most of the time in a tent. I have a couple more of the Ferrari I may post later.

Wasn't sure how to process this one, the background is an obvious distraction. Short of taking a photo of another field and 'shopping the two together, I'm not sure what else I can do - advice most welcomed.

Nice photos, am damn sure there is an option in PS for removing people from photographs along the lines of taking multiple photographs on a tripod, comparing the photographs, then removing objects or people that are moving between the pics. I rarely use PS so have no idea what it is called or how to do it but have seen it used to great effect on photographs of buildings.

Not the most amazing pictures but I felt a need to share as after I got home from driving this random dirt track for an hour I found it is called Whaanga coast and is used in the NZ WRC. Its also featured in the WRC game. Some spectacular views along it.

Some of my favourites from the Ring this weekend. Please feel free to rip them apart, because I want to learn how to be better!

Too many to give detailed feedback on but most are good.
6375 and 6449 could both benefit from a crop to get rid of the barrier sneaking in to the right of the frame.

Thanks for posting them.

I wouldn't dream of criticising any of them until I can post better ones. However, 6530 would benefit from a bit less right foot until the driver is out of the corner. Nicely timed.

I enjoyed them.

Haha. Thank you.

I remember my mate shouting 'OH HE NEARLY LOST IT!' as he was a few corners back, but apparently this guy knew exactly where that car was going. There was some very impressive car control going on that day!
