Why are there so few car photographs?
Discussion
I haven't done any staged car shoots yet (should really get out and find a nice location to take some pictures of my car), but I do like to get shots at the various car shows I go to - mostly PH Sunday Services. The problem with those is having to get whatever angle you can that cuts people and other cars out of the shot you want, and having no control over things like where the cars are parked and the lighting.

There's loads of photos about.
Check out the club motorsport forum, there's a whole thread dedicated to car porn.

Wow, amazing, my untrained eye sees 2 types of pictures, shots of some great cars and great photography of ordinary cars.

God this is painful, I drove through limehouse tunnel and the docklands for 3 hours 2 nights in a row, trying (and failing) to take a shot like this with dramatic effect and came away with poo.I like this.

Pretty much what it says really ... Why are there so few car related photographs and posts on a vehicle based website.
Personally speaking, I just can't get excited about taking pictures of cars. Love cars and driving, but put a camera in my hand and I suffer a denial of interest attack.I took my camera (a DSLR and a little film camera) to the Yorkshire Big Breakfast and really struggled to take anything interesting or good. I haven't finished the roll of B&W film though, so that might have a few more interesting pics on it.
Also, I'm really crap at it.
This may be tenuously connected to my lack of enthusiasm.
Some variety from me.
